Title: Swiss Project Lead

Reports To: VP Insights EMEA 

The Swiss National Project Lead will act as comScore’s primary day to day contact for the next generation digital media research project organized by NET-Metrix (co-owned by Mediapulse And WEMF), in the delivery of the Swiss Media Data Hub. They shall take on the oversight at national delivery level of the current pre- and post-contract development work and deliver the project to the scope of the contractual commitments. The contract includes a Set Up Phase until end December 2018 and then a Production “Currency” phase for five years and beyond.

The position offers a tremendous opportunity for an established digital media professional to integrate comScore’s leading solutions into the fabric of the Swiss national media industry.

  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own delivery of the solution to meet contractual commitments
  • Ensure that the solution is delivered in line with a standard project triangle; with consideration for scope, time, cost and quality
  • Develop and work to processes for stakeholder reporting and project update
  • Manage the project Service Level Agreement including oversight of milestones, success factors and penalty regime

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • In this role, the successful candidate will analyze large amounts of comScore's data, design new methods to solve specific problems in the data, and design improvements for the future. This is a technical position requiring analytical and market research expertise, preferably with experience working with very large data sets.
  • Expected to take a project leadership role in development of methodology for the next generation of digital and cross media measurement in Europe and Asia.
  • The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders with a wide variety of statistical backgrounds.

    • Manage the U.S. based Syndicated Client Insights team, providing them with the support and training needed to deliver superior client service to their clients
    • Become an expert in comScore syndicated products and support additional research projects that help clients optimize their performance.
    • Develop and train teams that leverage strong internal product knowledge and data analysis expertise to support the Sales Teams as well as client requests/inquiries and reporting
    • Ensure that the Syndicated Client Insights team delivers exceptional product training and provides accurate, timely and informative responses/insights to clients

    • Support our internal Sales Team by identifying any upsell opportunities for additional products/services to meet client needs

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Market Research or related quantitative field
    • 8-10 years of work experience managing a team and driving team development and training
    • Work experience that is analytical with a fundamental understanding of the digital advertising industry
    • Proven analytical proficiency with numbers and statistics, with experience in analyzing large amounts of data, and an ability to consolidate and translate that data into business insights
    • Proficiency with analytical, presentation and project management tools
    • Project management skills, including the abilities to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while working effectively with colleagues and clients in diverse departments, geographic locations, and time zones
    • Ability to present findings to large audiences and provide actionable insights

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create and implement Industry solutions for video consumption data collection, complex panel integrations with our media partners and design data exports in collaboration with Product, Engineering, Sales and Operations.
    • Advise and assist with the identification concept of panel members and implementation of measurement SDK’s, understanding privacy regulations and hashing concepts.
    • Setup Proof of Concepts and provide test data.

    ACTVITIES

    Measuring Internet TV comes with the challenge to integrate different panel sources like metered panels, TV households and profiles from third party partners to obtain demographics. You will actively collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales and Operations to understand, create and implement solutions. For this you need to be familiar with privacy regulations, hashing and un-hashing principles for ID’s like IDFA to link panel members to collected census data of the players.

    You need to understand how TV broadcasters have organized their Internet TV Content and explain how they can leverage this for their digital platforms. The same accounts for their Video Ads.

    We will ask you to visit our (international) clients, media partners and JICs to design and organize a media research solution involving several data sources (census data based on tags, metered panel data and panel identification concepts). You will organize a kick off to get full engagement of participants to start a proper implementation process. Once the TV Broadcasters have started their implementations you will engage (in remote sessions) to assure it is done properly to measure the full behavior of their players and check that measurements can be associated to the correct TV Episode. For this you will work together with (local) support teams. If needed, we will ask you to revisit the clients, JICs and media partners to assure a swift roll out.

    Change management, Service Level Agreement, alerting, and self-testing tools are important aspects to assure the quality of the daily digital TV data. This is a subject in which you will participate in the design phase. You will find out that each country and region will have its own flavor.

    You will assist in monthly technical group meetings where progress, issues and new developments will be discussed with the TV Broadcasters.
