Senior Market Research Analyst

Job Title:  Consumer and Market Research Lead (Client Insights – Digital Payments)

Location:  Reston, VA

JOB FUNCTION:

The Consumer and Market Research Lead will form part of comScore’s Client Insights team in charge of delivering business and consumer insights within the Digital Payments industry (B2C & P2P). This role involves conducting market research, competitive intelligence, business analysis, behavioral and survey data analysis, data quality assurance and delivering compelling client presentations.

  • The core objective of this role is to help leading Financial Services clients (Fortune 100 & 500) gain business value from comScore’s data by improving clients’ understanding of consumer behavior, competitors’ strategy/tactics, market fundamentals, and opportunities arising from new technology developments in the B2C and P2P Digital Payments industry.

    You will work alongside our Analytics, Survey and Sales partner teams to deliver strategic consulting services to comScore’s clients, to expand client relationships and to grow revenue opportunities.

     QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or quantitative field.
    • 3-7 years of work experience in an analytical role (preferably involving business/financial analysis and consumer/market research).
    • Experience working in Financial Services, credit cards, payment networks, e-Commerce, m-Commerce and the Digital Payments industry (B2B & P2P) is a plus but not required.
    • Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, lookup, etc.) and PowerPoint skills required.
    • Strong problem solving, communication and project management skills.
    • Team player willing to help others.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
