The Infrastructure Operations team is responsible for supporting the servers, network and storage devices across all of comScore’s data centers and cloud environments. We collect and process 65 Billion records daily which are used to run up to 100,000 jobs daily. These processes run in Hadoop, Greenplum and Windows environments on over 1000+ servers. Our team ensures that the environments are healthy and functioning as expected by monitoring dashboards, alerts and acting to resolve problems as quickly as possible.

This team will monitor and troubleshoot issues within the network, storage & server environment. These environments exist on premise as well as in AWS and are a mixture of physical and virtual. This position will also be responsible for working with multiple teams in the US to create support and escalation procedures based on the impact to the business.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Remote management and monitoring of 24 x 7 Network Operations
  • Ability to work with SOPs.
  • Troubleshoot, prioritize and escalate issues to concerned technical teams.
  • Ability to communicate severity issues.
  • Understanding of the ITIL process including Incident, Change & Knowledge management.
  • Provide on-call support
  • Help in process improvement and documentation

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 1 to 3 years of Network infrastructure operations(NOC) experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow complex and detailed instructions

  • Experience in handling hardware and SEL logs and differentiating between critical and non-critical events

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Individually manage sales across a wide list of key clients as well as generate new business from existing customers and prospective clients.
  • Lead discovery sessions to identify the customer’s key needs and pain points.
  • Work with the prospect in a consultative fashion to develop a digital strategy vision and position comScore’s offering as an instrumental part of that vision.
  • Conduct storytelling product demonstrations that highlight the value the solution brings to the client

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A highly motivated consultative sales professional with a proven track record of success in enterprise software sales;
  • 4-5 years minimum direct sales experience preferably in the media research, media analytics or CPG industry
  • Previous experience as a sales engineer or pre-sales consultant supporting an enterprise software solution highly desired
  • Relentless work ethic and a desire to learn a new skill set, develop additional expertise and create the future of cross-platform and digital business analytics
  • Familiarity with page tagging and census data collection methods a plus
  • Market research background is a big plus
