JOB FUNCTION:

The Sales Operations analyst will be responsible for operational analysis supporting comScore’s US and International sales organization. The primary responsibilities will be related to maintaining the accuracy of the sales organization’s future renewal pipeline for subscription services. This new position will be accountable for the full breadth and accuracy of comScore’s subscription renewal pipeline across all worldwide sales teams. This will include significant data management in comScore’s Salesforce.com CRM system. The sales ops analyst will also support the VP, Sales Operations, develop regular KPI reporting and ad-hoc analysis projects related to pricing and discounting trends, quota and territory analysis, and other sales or financial analyses.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The primary responsibilities of the Sales Operations Analyst include:

  • Ensures timely and accurate entry of company-wide sales renewal sales pipeline in comScore’s Salesforce.com CRM system.
  • Works directly with sales team members and leadership to validate and resolve discrepancies in comScore’s renewal pipeline.
  • Prepares routine and ad-hoc analysis related to sales renewal pipeline coverage, retention rates, and assists in sales forecasting for future renewal business.
  • Track and monitor sales territory assignments across existing customer base accounts, assist with the analysis and management of territory changes due to sales turnover or realignment, and quantify impacts of territory shifts on individual sales team member quota assignments.
  • Support business improvement and system automation efforts related to sales renewals, quota and territory management, and pricing/discounting measurement within comScore’s sales processes.
  • Establish and maintain key partnerships with sales managers and finance teams related to renewal pipeline and sales territories.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in sales, sales operations, or business operations.
  • 1-3 years of experience working with Salesforce.com and performing data analysis using Excel or other business analysis tools.
  • This position requires excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills necessary to interact with a wide range of sales roles as well as with senior management.

  • Work with eZpublish Content Management System to create and post content on the website including press releases, market rankings, data gems and webinar/event presentations.
  • Ensure incoming requests through centralized system (Marketing Operations Help Desk) are complete and in the correct format.
  • Gain visibility into upcoming marketing campaigns through weekly check-in calls with Regional, Product, Events, Communications and Insights teams.
  • Manage campaign tactic calendar to avoid conflicts in execution.
  • Plan and execute webinars for the supported regions including project management, WebEx setup, setup of registration page, post-webinar presentation page, recording/editing of webinar presentation, invitation and reminder email promotions, post-webinar follow-up email promotions and post-webinar recap and reporting to enable sales follow-up.
  • Work with Marketing CRM Manager to create targeted lists for campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Product and Regional Marketing Managers to analyze and optimize campaigns.
  • Identify and report barriers for operational efficiency within the supported regions.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience using a Marketing Automation Platform and basic knowledge of HTML is required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•  3-5 years of analytical work experience in a client facing role with at least 1-2 years’ experience in digital media. Experience with analyzing digital campaign data, media planning and analysis or custom research is important. Experience with survey based digital research is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of the digital landscape including the display data, measurement and the media eco-system.

•  Experience in analyzing large amounts of data and proven proficiency in consolidating and translating that data into business insight

• Strong project management skills, ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and work effectively with colleagues and clients in diverse departments.

• Ability to present findings to large audiences and provide actionable insights

• 1-2 years of management experience.  Experience managing others and developing/training new employees.

• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required.
