Basic Function

 

An IT Support Engineer within comScore uses established analysis techniques to provide excellent remote IT support to our end-users throughout EMEA and APAC region. Occasionally you will travel to our branch offices in Europe to support the local teams. You are responsible for configuring and setting-up desktops and laptops; user support, troubleshooting and participate in internal projects. You also manage phone and video conferencing systems, evaluate hardware and software solutions and make recommendations to management.

 

We are looking for an excellent communicator who is able to plan ahead, think of solutions, is not afraid of administrative tasks and is able to relate well with people of all levels within the global organization.

 

 Responsibilities:

 

  • Independently provide troubleshooting and support expertise to internal end-users on technical issues related to client and server software and equipment
  • Manage and support a Windows Server platform and Active Directory
  • Responsible for maintenance on all office equipment including servers, copiers, phones, printers and video conferencing systems
  • Responsible for accurate administration in our ticketing system and meet our internal SLA’s
  • Prepares technical documentation for end-user support training

 

 

Desired Skills and Experience

 

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role working with following technologies:

Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Windows Server environments, Web Servers, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Microsoft Exchange, MS Office software
