BASIC FUNCTION:

Working within the Panel Science team, the Research Analyst in Panel Methodologies will focus on supporting auditable practices and methodologies related to sampling and sample weighting as well as demographic collection and reporting for comScore’s research panels. The Research Analyst will be responsible for reviewing and documenting current methodologies and will also work closely with our development team to plan and execute new methodologies and practices for comScore’s audience measurement products as needed. 

The ideal candidate will bring analytical experience to the role, as well as an interest in developing robust research processes including documentation and quality assurance steps, and will have an academic background including research methods and/or statistics or be able to demonstrate equivalent work experience in market and/or media research.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Provide quality assurance for existing research practices and methodologies
  • Assist in developing new research practices and methodologies
  • Support documentation and testing related to panel, sample and weighting methodologies for purposes of audit accreditation

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in quantitative field (statistics, social sciences, economics, mathematics, etc.)

BASIC FUNCTION:


The Survey Research Analyst will be responsible for coordinating all activities from project initiation to the creation of the final deliverables of custom survey research projects for comScore clients.  In this role, the Survey Research Analyst will be responsible for consulting with clients regarding project scope and methodology, in order to deliver strategic deliverables that meet our clients’ objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
• Managing multiple research projects concurrently, utilizing a variety of research methodologies/approaches (ex., panel based, on-device, online advertising effectiveness, online focus groups, website evaluations)
• Questionnaire development
• Coordinate with technical/operations teams for recruitment set-up and field management
• Oversee all data-related aspects of project execution (e.g., quality control assurance from fielding through report delivery)
• Analysis of survey data sets in order to communicate compelling insights to clients, including sub-group analysis for inclusion in reports.  Basic analysis to include:
o Produce descriptive analyses of results consistent with client research objectives
o Perform basic analyses of statistical significance using accepted measures such as t-tests, chi square and analysis of variance

 QUALIFICATIONS:

As Technical Applications Administration (TAA) Manager, you will support the operation of comScore’s in-house developed application, DigitalAnalytix, operating through US and EU based datacenters.  The Manager is responsible for the availability, performance, stability and continuity of our production systems, with fast-moving renewing cycles.  The Manager will ensure the meeting of service level agreements, as well as incident resolution, monitoring of daily processes / systems, and pivot-projects.  The TAA Manager will also field technical questions from both the organization and customer support.  Other duties include –

  • Play a pivotal role in the effort to grow the US-based TAA team.
  • Advise Product Management, Development and QA, with regards to improvements and technical adjustments.
  • Responsible for testing and installing updates to software on production environments
  • Implementation and improvement of monitoring and alerting tools
  • Tuning of software and hardware system settings, to achieve optimal production performances
  • Standby shifts.

JOB FUNCTION:

Document the facts, circumstances, and appropriate accounting treatment of the Company’s complex transactions in the form of technical accounting memos. This will require detailed research of the accounting guidance and the application of the guidance to the specific facts and circumstances of the Company’s unique transactions. Assist in the management of the stock compensation accounting and equity accounting of the Company. Assist in the preparation and filing of SEC filings in both HTML and XBRL. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write technical accounting memos, which detail the facts, circumstances, and correct accounting treatment of the complex accounting transactions that the Company enters into each quarter;
    • Research the accounting guidance to obtain support for the conclusions reached in the technical accounting memos
  • Assist in the management of stock compensation accounting using the Fidelity Investments system;
  • Assist in the accounting for equity transactions and the related schedules needed to support the Company’s equity accounting;

Accounts Payable Clerk (Reston, VA, United States)

A team oriented person able to handle multiple priorities related to the accounts payable function.  Demonstrated ability to process a high volume of transactions related to multiple countries and foreign currencies with a high level of energy, accuracy and attention to detail.  Must be able to work within time constraints and consistently meet deadlines.  Position will be responsible for serving as the backup to our Travel and Expense report process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

• Responsible for data entry of Accounts Payable vendor invoices to ensure accuracy, appropriate natural expense, location and department coding using our Metafile system on a daily basis
• Management and follow-up on invoice approvals to ensure timely processing and payment of vendor invoices
• Assist with the weekly payment cycles
• Responsible for data entry necessary to accurately maintain the vendor master files in the accounting system
• Assist with ensuring W-9’s are on file for all vendors in accordance with legal requirements.
• Prepare all vendor information and request forms W-9’s, ect.
• Ensure all Accounts Payable documentation is organized and filed on a timely basis to ensure efficient and timely access to supporting documentation by all accounting staff
• Assist with the determination of month end accruals for items not processed through the AP module of the accounting system
• Ensure all SOX requirements are being met on a consistent basis in accordance with our SOX documentation.  Monitor and ensure procedural systems are working as designed and documented, identify issues and/or weaknesses and continually recommend process improvements.
• Serve as backup to the Travel & Expense Accountant
• Ensure employee expense reports are processed by the Accounting Clerk in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Ensure employee reimbursements are uploaded to the ADP payroll system in a timely and accurate manner ensuring all payroll processing deadlines are met on a weekly or bi-weekly payment cycle.
• Ensure employee reimbursement journal entries are uploaded from Concur to Great Plains monthly at the conclusion of the actual processing
• Prepare monthly travel expense accrual as part of the month-end close cycle
• Serve as the system administrator for the Concur expense report processing system and initiate, facilitate and resolve any system issues, upgrades and integration activities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

Job Function:

The Data Center Engineer will be the front line for monitoring and maintaining equipment for a 2000+ server environment.  Primary duties will include monitoring server hardware and performing routine maintenance on servers.

JOB FUNCTION:

The Advertising Operations Coordinator will be responsible for managing operational activities for comScore clients’ digital advertising campaigns and providing basic technical support for the team.  In this role, the Advertising Operations Coordinator will be responsible for troubleshooting support tickets, consulting with internal and external clients regarding the advertising implementation, managing advertising projects from start to finish, and setting up and monitoring strategic deliverables that meet our clients’ objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate campaign-specific information necessary to run Ad Effectiveness studies
• Successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Distribute tagging scripts and implementation documentation to clients
• Conduct client trainings on technology
• Proactively manage advertising validation processes
• Lead Client calls to direct tagging implementation and troubleshooting processes
• Take accountability and ownership of assigned projects, including troubleshooting and resolution
• Act as the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams
• Proactively communicate project status and collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure best quality execution of Ad Effectiveness studies
• Provide back-up for Ad Operations Manager‘s responsibilities when needed
• Data analysis on multiple campaigns


QUALIFICIATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree: Business, Communications, Engineering, MIS focus
• Prior experience with planning, buying, executing, or measuring online media plans is a plus
• Prior experience working with ad servers or a working knowledge of ad servers required
