  • Patent portfolio development, including management of patent preparation and patent prosecution

The Survey Research Associate Analyst will be responsible for coordinating all activities from project initiation to the creation of the final deliverables of ad effectiveness survey projects for comScore clients.   • Assist in managing multiple research projects concurrently, utilizing a variety of research methodologies/approaches (ex., panel based, on-device, online advertising effectiveness, website evaluations).
  • Assist in the development of questionnaires.
  • Coordinate with technical/operations teams for recruitment set-up and field management.
  • Oversee all data-related aspects of project execution (e.g., quality control assurance from fielding through report delivery).

comScore's global User Experience Team is looking to add a Senior UX Designer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate for this role knowledgeable in several UX disciplines, such as information architecture, interaction design, human factors, user interface design, etc.

For this role a strong emphasis in visual design is preferred. We need someone who has a deep foundation in visual design, and has a knack for design that is aesthetically pleasing, which also evokes emotion from the user. 

What We Do:

  • The comScore UX team produces and presents user-centered design deliverables such as sketches, wireframes, prototypes and visual mock-ups to cross-team stakeholders.
  • We consult with Technical Leads to ensure design solutions are technically feasible.
  • We deliver clear UX guidance and interaction guidelines for web applications in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • We provide facilitation to cross-functional teams in a wide variety of collaborative methods.

What You'll Do:

  • Create wireframes for comScore product designs
  • Create user interface specifications for their design
  • Lead collaborative methods sessions
  • Contributes to the Design Language System, so we have a clear taxonomy across our design team and across products.
  • Creates visually appealing, high-fidelity final designs

What You'll Need:

  • 3 -6 years UX design experience, with an emphasis on Visual/Graphic design.
  • BA/BS or MA/MS or equivalent work experience, ideally with Visual Design emphasis.
  • Strong understanding of usability.
  • Keen collaboration, facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.

Senior User Experience Designer (UX & Visual Design)

An an information security analyst, you'll be a member of comScore's growing information security team and will work closely with the other members of the team to develop and implement a comprehensive information security program. The information security analyst also works with the IT department to select and deploy technical controls to meet specific security requirements, analyzes vulnerability/risk data and makes recommendations to remediate security concerns to reduce overall business risk against an evolving threat landscape.

What You'll Do In This Role:

Primary Duties:

  • Assist in the coordination and completion of information security operations documentation.
  • Work with comScore's IT department and members of the information security team to identify, select and implement technical controls.
  • Advise security administrators on normal and exception-based processing of security authorization requests.
  • Research, evaluate and recommend information-security-related hardware and software, including developing business cases for security investments.
Definition and Implementation of Controls
  • Defines security configuration and operations standards for security systems and applications, including policy assessment and compliance tools, network security appliances, and host-based security systems.
  • Develops and validates baseline security configurations for operating systems, applications, and networking and telecommunications equipment.
Incident Detection and Response
  • Provides second- and third-level support and analysis during and after a security incident.
Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Assessments
  • Develops a common set of security tools. Defines operational parameters for their use, and conducts reviews of tool output.
  • Performs control and vulnerability assessments to identify control weaknesses and assess the effectiveness of existing controls, and recommends remedial action.
  • Works with IT staff on deploying, tuning and running vulnerability-scanning and penetration-testing tools.
  • Assists security administrators and IT staff in the resolution of reported security incidents.
  • Participates in security investigations and compliance reviews, as requested by internal or external auditors.
  • Monitors daily or weekly reports and security logs for unusual events.
Audit Support
  • Supports company compliance initiatives.
  • Supports e-discovery processes to include identification, collection, preservation and processing of relevant data.

Program Support

  • Researches, evaluates, designs, tests, recommends and plans the implementation of new or updated information security technologies.
  • Researches and assesses new threats and security alerts, and recommends remedial actions.
  • Gathers operational statistics.

What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum of three years' IT or network security experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems or equivalent work experience.
  • Industry Certifications (Security+, CISM, CISSP, CISA or Microsoft Certifications)
  • Experience with common information security management frameworks, such as ISO 2700x and the ITIL and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) frameworks.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of mainstream operating systems and a wide range of security technologies, such as firewalls, vulnerability scanners (e.g. Nessus, Tenable), anti-malware solutions, SIEM (e.g. LogRhythm), intrusion detection and prevention, identity and access management (IAM) systems, and desktop security tools.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze security requirements and relate them to appropriate security controls.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong customer/client focus, with the ability to manage expectations appropriately, to provide a superior customer/client experience and build long-term relationships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:    

  • Performs end-to-end client project management or recurring delivery
  • Creates and analyzes custom data sets of varying size and complexity; pull data, perform quality checks, manipulate data into meaningful metrics and client-friendly formats.
  • Trains clients on how to use their reports and proactively reaches out to client with insights (data and industry)
  • Demonstrates comScore’s products to clients and speaks confidently on data assets and methods
  • Facilitates client meetings, leads conversations and ensures that action items are performed Presents and discusses findings, insights, and recommendations constructed around robust data analysis of custom data sets
  • Performs QA checks on work and participates in peer review processes by checking other’s work
  • Serves as key ‘go-to’ person for clients on all projects delivered
  • Escalates issues when appropriate; navigates through internal teams easily
  • Travels to client sites to present research; travel approximately 25% of the time

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or quantitative field
  • 2- 5 years’ experience working in an analytical field 
  • Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills; experience with database query helpful (SQL preferred)
  • Excellent analytical skills; ability to find root cause and autonomously solve problems
  • Excellent time management skills; extremely organized and efficient
  • Detailed-oriented, thorough and consistent; applies high quality standards for everything from data sets to client emails
  • Ability to build strong client relationships quickly, with contacts of all levels
  • Polished presentation skills and strong business acumen
  • Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
