To ensure IBOE data is  updated  and accurate, act as a primary point of contact for all eleven International Rentrak Theatrical offices (Munich, Paris, London, Madrid, Sydney, Buenos Aires, Russia, etc.), in regard to content, to interface with Rentrak executives on a daily basis to project plan new initiatives .

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Film Content - Be the primary resource to build non-domestic films in BOE with complete and comprehensive  attributes  related  to synopsis, director , genre, country  of origin, cast, etc.International office liaison - confer with each international office to create local titles with appropriate attributes.
  • Build relationships with each contact to stimulate a beneficial  working relationship.
  • " Territory launch" participant - being involved in setting up a new territories on IBOE; this will involve entering data, theatres, films, releases, calendars etc. until the territory is handed over to a local office internationally.
  • Special Projects - help identify the needs within IBOE and be responsible  for the execution  of certain  projects - i.e. the Talent  Database project.
  • Perform  content  integrity  on  a  territory-by-territory  basis  -  review  transactional data, release de tails,  calendars etc.
  • Troubleshooter - identify and resolve redundant film titles.  Work with tech  services  to  properly merge films on  an  as-needed  basis.   Work with "client  services" to test the site and solve problems  that  are  submitted   by  internal  and  external sources.

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree and 3+ years of professional experience

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst role with experience analyzing large data sets focusing on data sampling and analysis.  In this role, you will serve as a primary owner of the sampling and projection methodology for reporting comScore’s panel data and will be a key point of contact for questions and issues that arise around data production – this means great visibility for you.

You’ll be a key resource for production tasks, and will develop a thorough understanding of our sampling and weights generation process. This is not an engineering role, though some coding is needed from time to time. Rather, this role is going to utilize all of your analytical and data reporting experience.  You will need to effectively communicate across internal teams in a positive and professional manner, as you will have access to people at high levels of the organization on a regular basis.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Support the comScore teams by providing in-depth knowledge of the weights process and field questions that arise about methodology or data.
  • Investigate potential data issues found in comScore’s syndicated reports and work efficiently with other internal departments to get problems resolved, propose solutions and implement future safeguards.
  • Develop and implement new or improved processes for sample selection and projection.
  • Will have a good understanding of the market, methodology, and technology that make up each of the products in the product suite. You’ll be an internal expert on how we present projections and weights to clients.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in BASE SAS, specifically in the SAS macro environment. Reading and de-bugging SAS is more critical to us than pure coding in SAS.
  • SQL query experience and proficiency with numbers/statistics. You should be well-versed in writing queries, joins, select statements and stored procedure development.
  • Experience with Internet Market Research data or panel-based data would be preferred, but not necessary.
  • Strong analytic skills that include analysis design/execution, data analysis and problem solving with large amounts of data.

  • Serve as a second level escalation point for comScore's Advertising and Digital products
  • Handle client inquiries via Salesforce and JIRA, and leverage comScore's proprietary technology to solve technical issues. 
  • Work with Client Insights, Analytics and Engineering teams to devise solutions to unique client issues. 
  • Priortize tickets and workflow across the Support team. 

What You'll Need: 

  • BS/BA in an analytically oriented field and 3-5 years of experience in a data-centric role
  • 1-2 years of team management experience and/or mentoring and supervising others is strongly preferred.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to effectively determine work scope and anticipate resource needs
  • Excellent client interaction acumen and cross-functional team experience is a must for this role
  • You'll need strong SQL skills for this role - you're the type of person who is comfortable with all types of joins, complicated SQL Scripts, and can wrangle a wayward query. SQL must be your domain of expertise. 
  • Experience with JIRA or other ticketing systems is preferred.

The ideal candidate is a dedicated person with team leadership and management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to distill technical concepts down for non-technical audiences. The job requires leading a team of statisticians to improve the way we measure Internet and digital audiences while working closely across other analytics and product teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team to develop the next generation methodology for syndicated and custom products using a variety of digital and TV data assets
  • This is a technical position requiring analytical and market research expertise; experience working with very large data sets is preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively across internal teams and stakeholders with a wide variety of statistical backgrounds on a regular cadence

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Social Sciences or similar degree with a focus on statistical methodology (PhD preferred but not required).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and develop the Advertising Products team in meeting its commitments to comScore and our clients. Bring focus, best practices, experience and instincts to the organization
  • Partner with Sales, Technology, Analytics and Operations teams to determine opportunities for further enhancement of current products, and to explore and develop mind-blowing new product offerings
  • Ensure product management team meets product support and development needs in areas such as documentation, industry intelligence, internal and external training, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 12 years of digital/technology experience, primarily in product leadership roles.
