Position Overview:

As a Senior Recruiter you will maintain overall responsibility for recruiting and pipeline development for comScore’s Custom Analytics and Operations business units – a critical part of   helping comScore maintain our position as the global leaders in audience and advertising measurement.  You’ll partner closely with hiring managers to understand the near and long term hiring needs for the group, and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the recruiting process.

Most importantly, you’ll serve as a front line spokesperson for comScore, sharing with candidates your vision for how comScore is using Big Data to provide unlimited growth opportunities for our team members, and forever changing how we measure the Internet.  

 

 

 

What You Do In This Role:

  • Full life cycle recruiting responsibilities for mid and senior level positions in our Analytics/ Operations organizations ranging from data scientists and statisticians to custom analytics and big data experts who provide the analytic backbone for the comScore’s unique data offerings.
  • Partner with hiring managers and other key decision makers to identify staffing needs, position requirements and recruiting strategies. 
  • Strategically advise hiring managers on best practices and develop collaborative solutions for identifying and hiring talented professionals.
  • Establish and maintain a pipeline of viable candidates for comScore’s Analytics and Commercial organization.  Develop deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and its players to drive top level candidates into critical roles.
  • Utilize a wide variety of recruiting sources such as major and niche job boards, professional networking sites, social media, and direct sourcing to identify and recruit qualified passive and active candidates.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies, tools and processes that are impacting the digital industry, and being utilized within our business.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant recruiting procedures and practices in compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the management of the comScore college recruiting program and help devise new strategies for attracting top engineering and technical talent.

 

 

 

What You Bring:

  • 4+ years experience in a fast paced, full-life-cycle recruiting environment.  A combination of staffing industry, executive search, and/or corporate recruiting experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting positions from entry to VP level positions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a relevant discipline preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting in related  industries strongly preferred, such as Digital Advertising (AdTech), Market Research, Software Technology, Data Analytics/Big Data or Online Media
  • Experience with advanced search techniques to attract and qualify active and passive candidates – you go beyond the boards, and have a knack for sourcing as well as recruiting and engaging candidates.
  • Prior experience supporting multiple hiring managers at once while developing and enhancing excellent working relationships with those managers and their teams
  • Ability to multi-task autonomously in an extremely fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • Ability to collaborate with peers in a team-oriented structure
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • In-depth experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is required.  Experience with iCIMS a big bonus.
  • Familiarity with immigration law and experience with various types of work visa sponsorship for candidates is preferred

This position is an entry level (Associate) Human Resources Generalist responsible for support and administration of HR policies, programs and processes for comScore's North America employees. We seek a candidate with strong work ethic, attention to detail, outstanding interpersonal skills and 2+ years of HR support experience or equivalent. This is a great opportunity for someone who is hoping to grow a career in the HR arena with a progressive company.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • HR Support: Manages New Hire HR Onboarding, Training & Orientation including QA of employee personal data into HRIS database and partnering with Benefits to ensure successful completion of required tasks
  • Serves as point of contact for employees on routine/day-to-day employee questions
  • Manages and responds to HR help request process (@ HR process)
  • Processes/approves various HR-related transactions in HRIS
  • Generates & utilizes data/reports from HRIS system
  • Administers HR programs including practices, policies, processes and administration of (eg., time tracking, absence management, payroll support, E-Verify, performance management, compliance training, rewards and recognition, etc.)
  • Makes recommendations for program development or HR deliverables based on analysis of related data/trends/employee relations issues
  • Supports comScore’s Immigration process
  • Works independently on ad-hoc projects and initiatives; involved in conducting needs assessments and delivering solutions to HR management
  • Manages HR-related content on the internal wiki
  • Assists with regular compliance/audits of employee documentation and help facilitate our document retention policy
  • Partners with other HR team members for various HR events including benefits open enrollment, wellness fairs, and other special events as needed
  • Helps the HR team to design and improve processes to better support our employees
  • Trains new HR staff, provides guidance to junior level employees
  • Tracks HR metrics; performs analysis of HR data; generates more complex reports; maintains headcount tracking
  • Regularly reviews HR processes and makes recommendations for process improvement; independently implements process changes to ensure efficiency and accuracy of HR deliverables

 

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree; degree in Human Resources, business, social science or related field a strong plus
  • 2+ years HR support experience, or equivalent
  • Experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) 
  • Familiarity with immigration law and I-9 verifications, as well as supporting other HR team members with processing of documents.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation; Flexibility to accommodate different personalities and professional work styles as well as changing work environments/priorities
  • Good team partnering skills
  • Ability to juggle competing priorities and work in fast-paced environment
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all employee information and salary matters
  • Excellent MS Office suite skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
