Majority of Mobile Deal-a-Day Audience from Upper Income Segments

U.S. mobile users are more frequently turning to their phones to get the latest daily deals.

In November 2011, 18.5 million U.S. consumers accessed deal-a-day destinations on their mobile phones. Many of these users represent an attractive audience for retailers looking to reach potential customers and drive mobile purchases. More than one-third of these users (36.5%) had a household income of $100k or greater, while 19.6% reported household income between $75k and $100k.
