comScore Appoints Ellen Marzell as Senior Director of Marketing Solutions in Europe
LONDON, U.K., July 31, 2009 – comScore, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCOR), a leader in measuring the digital world, today announced the appointment of Ellen Marzell as senior director of Marketing Solutions for comScore Europe. Ms. Marzell brings with her more than three decades of experience in the media and branded content arena, most recently in her role as VP of business development for In Game Advertising Worldwide (IGA).
The appointment marks the expansion of comScore’s marketing solutions services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and will allow comScore to focus on the marketing needs of online publishers, agencies, and advertisers. Ms. Marzell will be building upon her previous experience at IGA, where she had been working with comScore to create third-party measurement systems to deliver measurable advertising ROI to online advertisers.

Marzell has previously held senior international sales and development roles at WPP/Global Sportnet, AOL’s Advertising.com (Platform A), and the Perform Group. Prior to these roles, she was SVP at IMG Media where she worked with major blue chip brands to create ad-funded content initiatives and set up and ran IMG’s global research division, Comperio Research. She sits on the advisory board of the Branded Content Marketing Association (BCMA) and serves as an advisor to the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) on their newly created video games council.
