comScore Digital Analytix® Multi-Platform Awarded 2014 New Technology of the Year by Digital Analytics Association
RESTON, VA, March 19, 2014 – comScore, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCOR), a leader in measuring the digital world, announced that its Digital Analytix® Multi-Platform product was named 2014 New Technology of the Year by the Digital Analytics Association (DAA). Digital Analytix Multi-Platform was one of five nominees in the category and, along with Tealium’s AudienceStream, received first place.
“This is an incredible honor for us, and reaffirms our commitment to innovation in web analytics,” said Jodi McDermott, comScore Vice President of Product Management, Digital Analytix. “Traditional metrics used in web analytics today are becoming increasingly unreliable due to the proliferation of devices that are coming online, which is the exact challenge comScore aimed to solve with the introduction of Digital Analytix Multi-Platform. We’re excited to continue working with brands to solve their biggest challenges in this multi-platform landscape, and partnering with leading industry organizations such as the DAA to solve tomorrow’s web analytics challenges together.”
"We extend our congratulations to all recipients of the 2014 Awards for Excellence,” said Jim Sterne, founder of the DAA and eMetrics summit. “The increase in submissions this year demonstrates the growing importance of the digital analytics field in business today and underlines its impressive growth. We are pleased to see so many companies, including our award recipients, taking innovative approaches to shaping the future of digital measurement and analytics.”
The 2014 Awards for Excellence were announced the evening of Tuesday, March 18 during a gala at eMetrics in San Francisco, California. Nearly 90 nominations of individuals, agencies, vendors and practitioners were submitted for the 2014 global awards competition, and the finalists were determined by votes from the DAA's 5,000-plus members. The recipients of the award were then determined by a panel of over 30 distinguished independent judges who represent the digital analytics industry from all sectors.
