ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The Sales Manager will: 

  • Be a hunter to create new business opportunities in Custom Research Projects to our Advertisers clients in Mexico.
  • Build and drive a pipeline, sell and close prospective clients in Mexico with special focus on advertiser prospects.
  • Prospective clients will range from media companies, marketers, brands and advertising agencies
  • Work with Reseller and partners as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  •  A highly aggressive, proven sales professional with a proven track record of success
  • 2 to 5 years direct sales experience required with online research sales experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of market research and how information can be applied to help client to achieve their goals
  • Excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal, as well as working experience with domestic and international clients
  • Proven ability to independently manage and develop ongoing client relationships

THIS POSITION WILL BE SUPPORTING FINANCIAL SERVICES

 

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Individually manage sales across a wide list of key clients as well as generate new business from existing customers and prospective clients.
  • Lead discovery sessions to identify the customer’s key needs and pain points.
  • Work with the prospect in a consultative fashion to develop a digital strategy vision and position comScore’s offering as an instrumental part of that vision.
  • Conduct storytelling product demonstrations that highlight the value the solution brings to the client
  • Consistently deliver individual sales targets every quarter
  • Guide the expansion of comScore’s analytics solution suite across all industry sectors, including but not limited to publishers and advertisers
  • Develop solid, strategic relationships with key decision makers at targeted accounts as well as internal account relationship stakeholders
  • Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business and demonstrate how the comScore’s Digital Analytix offerings can assist them to achieve their business objectives

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A highly motivated consultative sales professional with a proven track record of success in enterprise software sales;
  • 2-3 years minimum direct sales experience with enterprise software solution sales required, with sales of web analytics or business intelligence software and services strongly preferred 
  • Previous experience as a sales engineer or pre-sales consultant supporting an enterprise software solution highly desired
  • Strong understanding of digital analytics solutions as well as primary and secondary research and how this information can be applied to help client’s to achieve their goals
  • Direct experience selling enterprise software services as a solution suite is a big plus, particularly as these solutions can be integrated with applications such as e-mail marketing, CRM, search keyword management, performance measurement, etc.
  • Experience with hosted solutions in selling software as a services (SaaS), specific to the analytics space
  • Relentless work ethic and a desire to learn a new skill set, develop additional expertise and create the future of digital business analytics
  • Familiarity with page tagging and census data collection methods a plus
  • Market research background is a big plus
  • Established contacts and relationships within the industry a strong plus

We currently have 2 data centers in the Washington, DC and Richmond areas, and want a virtualization specialist to help us continue rolling this out across the organization and manage it over the long-term.

 

You’ll work closely with our data center team, but you won’t work in a silo. You’ll be working with other teams, like DevOps, Open Source and our analytics and engineering teams, so being able to have the essential cross-team conversations is also important.

 

Experience we’ll need you to have coming in:

  • 5+ years of experience with VMware ESXi (5.1 and 5.5)

This individual will lead a team of billing specialists, located in Amsterdam and London in close cooperation with the comScore headquarter revenue team located in the US. The strong candidate will be hands-on, detail oriented and accurate. Manage the billing, contract accounting, revenue recognition and technical revenue accounting issues. The Revenue Supervisormust ensure that efficient processes and effective controls are in place and must also independently manage the team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the revenue team in billing to clients (located in EMEA and APAC) in compliance with US GAAP
  • Manage the month-end revenue close process in cooperation with the US revenue team
  • Review sales opportunities in SalesForce for accuracy and reach out to opportunity owners for change
  • Interface with the Accounting Teams to provide guidance and manage monthly close deadlines
  • Review contracts to ensure that proper revenue recognition treatment is adhered to
  • Perform monthly financial and ad hoc analyses to monitor the ‘contracts’ performance
  • Assist with ad hoc requests and contract-related technical accounting issues which includes working with Sales and Legal teams
  • Manage the Revenue aspects regarding quarterly reviews and annual audit

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills required along with the ability to properly communicate analysis to various organizational levels
  • Must have good Microsoft Excel skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
  • US GAAP knowledge is a plus
  • Must have management experience
  • Fluent Dutch and good English required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate finance role, preferably revenue and contract-related
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
  • Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast paced environment
