State of the Mobile Market and How It's Evolved
Mobile technology has experienced one of the fastest rates of consumer adoption in the history of technology. In just a few years since its introduction, the iPhone has revolutionized how people interact with each other and businesses to the extent that many users wonder what they did before the iPhone came along. This session will examine the state of the mobile market today. Our first speaker will examine: Who are the users? What are their demographics? What do they buy? How do they use their phones and tablets to shop? How does their mobile shopping behavior differ from their web shopping behavior? Our speaker will also address how the rapid evolution of mobile has affected all of online marketing and e-commerce, looking at such issues as how mobile has ratcheted up consumers' expectations about how often they will communicate with retailers; raised expectations about anywhere, anytime access to deals, price comparisons and stored information about their own preferences; and more.
