May 2014 highlights:

  • In May 2014, 47.7 million people in France went online via their desktop or laptop, while 41 million watched videos online.
  • Google leads the website rankings with 44.6 million Unique Visitors, followed by Microsoft Sites (32.5 million) and Facebook (30.9 million).
  • French Government Sites attracted 17.7 million unique visitors in May 2014 of which 12.1 million came from IMPOTS.GOUV.FR. The tax return deadline saw IMPOTS.GOUV.FR’s audience increase by 118% compared to April 2014, and 26% compared to May 2013.
  • EBuzzing and Teads, the merge of two French start-ups, is leading the online ad video properties ranking, reaching 17.1 million unique viewers in May 2014.
