MDA and Comscore Release Rankings of Top Web Entities in Malaysia for November 2014

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, January 22, 2015 – The Malaysian Digital Association (MDA), the apex representative body for online publishers, advertising agencies and digital service providers in Malaysia, and Comscore, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCOR), a global leader in digital media analytics, today released their monthly rankings of web activity at the top online entities in Malaysia for November 2014 based on data from the Comscore MMX™ and Comscore Mobile Metrix® services.

Top 30 Local Web Entities Visited from Desktop Computers in Malaysia
MAYBANK2U.COM.MY, MUDAH.MY, AIRASIA.COM, CIMBCLICKS.COM.MY, CARI.COM.MY and MALAYSIAAIRLINES.COM held their respective top 6 spots in the top 30 local web entities ranking in November 2014, compared to October 2014. SAYS.COM was the biggest mover, climbing 12 positions to #17. TM.COM.MY and MALINDOAIR.COM were the new entrants to the top 30 ranking compared to October 2014.

Top 30 Web Properties Visited from Desktop Computers in Malaysia
Google Sites, Facebook, Yahoo Sites, Microsoft Sites, Wikimedia Foundation Sites and Maybank Group kept their respective top 6 spots in the top 30 web properties ranking in November 2014, compared to October 2014. Lazada Sites saw the biggest jump, moving up 16 positions to #10 from #26. New to the chart compared to October 2014 was About at #30 with 1,088,000 unique visitors.

Top 20 Web Properties Visited from Mobile Devices in Malaysia
Astro Group and Media Prima Group kept their respective top 2 spots in the top 20 web properties ranking in November 2014, compared to October 2014. Malaysiakini Sites and Mode Media (formerly Glam Media) saw the biggest jump, climbing 6 positions to #7 and #9 respectively. Dailymotion and CBS Interactive were the new entrants compared to October 2014. Yahoo Sites kept its top spot in terms of tablet audience with 315,000 unique visitors, followed by Astro Group with 276,000 and MUDAH.MY with 249,000. In terms of engagement, MUDAH.MY ranked as the top property on smartphones with 174,742,000 pages viewed, followed by Malaysiakini Sites with 19,570,000 and Media Prima Group with 19,510,000.
