Qualifications:

  • JD from an accredited law school with strong academic record required
  • 10+ years demonstrated track record of increased responsibility in corporate Compliance roles
  • Compliance experience in a corporate environment for a public company required. Experience working in the technology industry strongly preferred

The Infrastructure Operations team is responsible for supporting the servers, network and storage devices across all of comScore’s data centers and cloud environments. We collect and process 65 Billion records on a daily basis which are used to run up to 100,000 jobs daily. These processes run in Hadoop, Greenplum and Windows environments on over 1000+ servers.
Our team ensures that the environments are healthy and functioning as expected by monitoring dashboards and alerts and taking action to resolve problems as quickly as possible.



JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Build and run a team who will monitor and troubleshoot issues with the network and storage devices along with thousands of servers.  These environments exist on premise as well as in AWS and are a mixture of physical and virtual environments.  This management position will also be responsible for working with multiple teams in the US to create support and escalation procedures based on the impact to the business. 



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Hire and train a new team that is able to provide 24x7 support
  • Work with network, storage and data center teams to create troubleshooting procedures
  • Windows and Linux server troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and escalate issues across multiple teams on priority basis until they are resolved
  • Communicate impact of major issues including the root cause
  • Help in process improvement and documentation

  • Experience with agile development tools and techniques.
  • Drives change and demostrates experience with supporting a strong team of engineers that build outstanding products. 
  • Technical experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, and related client and server-side frameworks such as Angular and Hapi is a plus
  • Experience with visualization of large data sets is a plus.

This is a part-time position and candidates must be available 7 nights a week. Shifts will vary and candidates must be willing to work on any night of the week starting at 6:00pm and could work as late as 1:00am.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


• Contacting theaters for missing grosses (sales information).
• Strong attention to detail and monitor theater’s normal reporting time and evaluate the need to contact or communicate with the day shift on issues that cannot be handled during the shifts.
• Collecting nightly grosses (sales information).
• Keeping track of received data and source documents.
• Preparing and sorting source documents, along with identifying and interpreting data to be entered.
• Data entry of alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into computer following format displayed on screen, and enters necessary codes.
• Make necessary corrections to information entered and compile, sort, and verify accuracy of data to be entered.
• This position will also provide routine office support such as making copies, faxing, answering phones, prepares correspondence for mailing, and delivering and picking up correspondence.

 

QUALIFICATIONS


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication skills are also needed as this person will Contact originators of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
• Must have excellent computer skills.
• 10 key experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to work nights. Shifts start at 6:00pm and work until midnight or later depending upon workload.
