The Software Engineer UI/UX works under close supervision of more senior engineers or Managers to maintain all company software, in-house or otherwise. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follows the development best practices and standards: (unit tests, code reviews, estimates, release procedures)
  • Ability to complete bug fixes and small enhancements
  • Understanding of system framework and architecture
  • Pull in senior resources for design reviews and code reviews
  • Pair with development resources where appropriate to gain system knowledge and training

  • Create HTML/CSS/JS based on wireframes and designs
  • Work closely with engineering to ensure UI is consistent across products and adhere to design pattern and style guide libraries
  • Conducts usability testing setting up user groups and performing tests from start to finish
  • Visualizes data and finds the best way to interpret information for users
  • Consider and design to human factors standards
  • Leverage user experience design with user research and usability testing results that produce focused designs

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or at least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Knowledge of object oriented languages such as C++
  • Scripting languages in Python, Java Script, Perl, etc.

Qualificaitons:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or quantitative field
  • 4-6 years of work experience required.  Experience in the digital advertising ecosystem (publishers, agencies, marketers/advertisers) a plus
  • Work experience that is analytical in nature, such as experience with custom research or syndicated data is important
  • Excellent project management skills and the proven ability to independently manage and develop ongoing client relationships
  • Proven track record of driving cross functional projects and ability to prioritize multiple demand
  • Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring a small team and ability to interact effectively with peers in a team-oriented operating structure

BASIC FUNCTION:

 

The Associate SPM position is an entry level position within comScore operations team that will work with fellow Survey Project Managers and Research Managers to assist and support in day-to-day functions required to manage online surveys. Entry level responsibilities include simple programming of online survey logic in Confirmit (an application for conducting online survey research), ensure sample requirements are fulfilled and perform hygiene on collected survey data to ensure the highest levels of data integrity are met. The high level responsibility involves the oversight of Survey-related projects and communication with appropriate parties to do so.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

 

  • Provide operational execution of online surveys. Ensure survey is programmed accurately and efficiently
  • Understand programming requirements for online survey deployment.
  • Act as support and/or owner of assigned client projects.
  • Understand, coordinate, and execute all technical aspects of project
  • Fully understand all survey quota requirements
  • Understand programming impacts on data structure
  • Interact with internal personnel to finalize online survey and all other aspects of project

  • Once this quality assurance role is complete, the deliverables are provided to the Researcher.
  • Remain current on best practices related to research, data and programming in order to provide the highest quality support and service to researchers.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • 0-2 years project professional work experience in business fields pertaining to research, market research, survey research or related industries.
  • Bachelors degree
  • Understanding of computer programming and Technical familiarity with scripting (JavaScript, jScript.NET) is highly desired.
  • Strong desire to work with project management and/or surveys.
  • Microsoft Office Able to use MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook efficientlySQL and/or MS Access experience is strongly desired.
  • Excellent skills in organization, communication, multi-tasking, and the ability to show demonstrated experience with these.

Qualifications:

JOB FUNCTION

 

This position is responsible for managing methodology projects demanded by the Media Rating Council (MRC) from original concept through final implementation for the Statistical Operations team.   This role will include preparation of documentation and standard procedures to promote adherence to MRC minimum standards in a way that exhibits quality and excellence in comScore’s television measurements. The Technical Writer will also develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.   

  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Lead Statistical Operations team in ongoing standard MRC audit, including managing projects and creating technical documentation related to audit preparation and execution 
  • Maintain technical documentation and infrastructure of the Statistical Operations knowledge base  
  • Acquire and maintain a clear understanding of the data science methods utilized in comScore’s products 
  • Manages Statistical Operations quality control practices and technical documentation as part of ongoing compliance with accreditation requirements. 
  • Collaborates with Statistical Operations management to establish quality assurances processes 
  • Advise Statistical Operations management of project schedules, priorities, and risks related to accreditation tasks 
  • On behalf of Statistical Operations management, partner with Best Practices Team responsible for accreditation efforts to respond to accreditation auditor requests, manage audit schedules, and develop technical documentation in preparation for audit     

QUALIFICATIONS       

  • Strong technical writing skills and ability to deliver high quality documentation with strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate and advise all levels of employees and senior management
