Lead Senior Financial Analyst (Reston, VA, United States)

This individual will assist the Senior Director, Financial Planning and Analysis with the annual Budget, Monthly/Quarterly Forecasts, Long Range Plans and monthly reporting for the budget areas. The strong candidate will be detail oriented and capable of thorough self-review for accurate reporting and analysis, as well as be inquisitive and possess an eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly analysis that highlights the key drivers for variances vs. the Budget, prior Forecast and prior months related to revenue, COGS and other expenses
  • Provide support for the monthly/quarterly revenue forecasting process
  • Review sales opportunities in SalesForce for accuracy and reach out to opportunity owners for changes
  • Update sales pipeline reports, which will be used weekly by the sales vertical leads 
  • Update Adaptive Planning with monthly actual results
  • Assist with calculating key metrics for quarterly financial reporting.
  • Work with Departments Heads and Sales Vertical Leaders to prepare their annual budget
  • Provide ad hoc support within the FP&A group as well as for Department Heads and Sales Vertical Leaders for items related to sales, revenue and expenses
  • Look for ways to improve the accuracy and automation of the current forecasting process


Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills required along with the ability to properly communicate analysis to various organizational levels
  • Self-initiated and takes ownership of his/her work
  • Must have exceptional Microsoft Excel skills and be proficient in Word
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning and SalesForce.com is a plus
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously

Qualifications:

The Survey Research Manager will be responsible for coordinating all activities from project initiation to the creation of the final deliverables of custom survey research projects for comScore clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sales Director will support the company's goals through a range of consulting, analytic and business development functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling our unique analyses and research services to prospects and partners; leveraging comScore’s core capabilities to address clients' strategic and tactical marketing challenges. This Sales Director will:

  • Have a proven track record of pipeline development and success in a fast paced, high growth environment
  • Have a history of exceeding sales goals and increasing sales revenue
  • Utilize their excellent track record in developing relationships with advertising agencies and national brand

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of bachelor's degree and 5+ years sales experience
  • Experience within the digital marketing industry strongly preferred (digital agency, online publisher/media company, or market research firm)
  • Understanding of market research and how information can be applied to help clients achieve their goals
  • Specific experience managing or selling advertising effectiveness services highly desired
  • A high intellect individual who combines analytical excellence, razor-sharp communication skills and an ability to build outstanding client relationships

Senior Counsel (Reston, VA, United States)

The comScore legal team is seeking an attorney with experience in contract and transactional experience, corporate governance and securities law to assist general counsel with a wide range of corporate legal responsibilities.

JOB TITLE:   SENIOR COUNSEL

LOCATION:   RESTON

REPORTS TO:  GENERAL COUNSEL

BASIC FUNCTION:  

Responsibilities to include (i) drafting, negotiating, and managing non-standard contracts related to strategic or complex deals, (ii) drafting and reviewing SEC filings and providing support on corporate governance matters, (iii) assisting in developing policies and procedures, and improving processes for managing international legal and corporate matters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Draft and negotiate a wide variety of non-standard complex deals – could include strategic partnerships, license arrangements, partnerships, large custom enterprise agreements, real estate leases, large vendor relationships, etc.
  • Draft, review and revise SEC filings (including proxy statements, 8-k, 10-k, etc.) and assist General Counsel in corporate governance matters (e.g., preparing board materials, minutes, etc.)
  • Support General Counsel in larger corporate transactions such as bank lines of credit, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, etc.
  • Oversee other miscellaneous legal responsibilities such as immigration, insurance, and other responsibilities under the purview of the General Counsel

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-4 years relevant experience in an in-house or law firm team
  • Experience with corporate transactions / SEC filings
  • Experience in project management and streamlining / managing processes
  • Self-starter with a demonstrated ability for problem solving and original thinking
  • Ability to work well with a large number of stakeholders
  • Pragmatic, business focused approach, with an ability to balance business goals and commercial realities with legal risks
  • Excellent writing and communications skills
  • And of course, good sense of humor with an enthusiasm for new challenges
