JOB FUNCTION

 

As a Deliverables Analyst at comScore, you play an integral role in making sure that our deliverable survey data is accurate, and that our clients are receiving the data in a timely manner, as well as the format that is most suitable for their specific needs. This role will utilize your analytical skills, your creativity, and exercise your technical skills as well. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 In this role you will:

  • Provide support to the Research and Fielding departments by ensuring data captured through online research is valid and reliable.
  • Ensure data writes to the correct data location
  • Manipulate, consolidate and import/export data files utilizing various software packages
  • Perform various data search/retrieval procedures and maintain/archive data files
  • Monitor projects utilizing various quality control techniques including data comparison and report generation
  • Interface with the Research Department to address inquiries regarding various data files and prepare data files for analysis
  • Utilize knowledge of analytical tools such as SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences), SQL
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills
  • Coordinate and ensure timely delivery of all required deliverables to research teams
  • Ensure the department’s conformance to quality and deliverable expectations in accordance with customer and company requirements through metrics reporting. Evaluate workflow and systems to assist in optimizing quality and efficiencies

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Social Sciences and/or relevant quantitative/technical field
  • 1 - 3 years of market research and/or technical experience preferred
  • Previous experience with survey research desired, but it’s not a requirment
  • An aptitude towards technology combined with sharp analytical skills; attention to detail and a data quality
  • Pro-active & creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills
  • Professional maturity; good organizational skills, and a desire to join a fast-paced environment where your actions can have a direct impact on our business

The Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between comScore and several of our key clients to maximize usage and satisfaction with comScore’s products and services, resulting in customer retention and up-selling additional services.     • Develop PowerPoint presentations, analyze data, and maintain account information in SalesForce.
    • Travel to client locations and attend sales meetings as necessary

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional client service support to leading partners, investment analysts, etc.
  • Communicate regularly with partners as their point of contact, keeping them engaged and utilizing our services, as well as looking for new opportunities to partner and help build comScore’s presence in the market
  • Project manage across several objectives, including conducting kick off calls, legal review of documentation, pricing negotiations, and pulling together internal key stakeholders to drive to decisions
  • Collaborate with internal teams, working together to keep projects on track and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Become an expert in comScore AdEffx and Audience products and custom capabilities.
  • Incubate new products with the help of Product Leadership and Custom Analytics departments; help improve and grow them to meet comScore client needs more effectively.
  • Keep management and senior management updated with objectives and partnership growth, constantly keeping a pulse on their head space and filling it with information about Corporate Development ongoings as well as eco-system information.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, qualitative or related field, or previous experience in Digital/TV Measurement and/or partnership management/corporate development
  • 4-6 years of work experience that includes digital and television related measurement background
  • Relationship management with external and internal stakeholders is critical
  • Project management skills, including the abilities to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and work effectively with colleagues and clients in diverse departments, geographic locations, and time zones
  • Driven to “do their homework” and keep in-the-know with the industry at large, including trends, but also the key players at other companies and how they relate to what comScore is trying to accomplish overall

  • Verifies resolved Jira issues and maintains accurate status for Jira issues entered and assigned
  • Assists fellow team members and customers with problem reporting and resolution and maintaining appropriate follow-up communications throughout the resolution process
  • Creates master test plans with clearly defined test objectives
  • Contributes towards QA estimation and scheduling process

 

QUALIFICATIONS

The Linear API team is responsible for building comScore’s next generation data delivery platform. Our API is a driver of business growth by providing access to comScore’s television ratings metrics for a broad range of clients and products. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Work within an agile team to develop new endpoints and enhancements to the comScore Linear Television API.
  • Recommend and implement creative solutions for improving response times for large data sets.
  • Increase scalability and maintainability to support rapid usage growth.
  • Collaborate openly with stakeholders and clients to continuously improve the product and increase adoption.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Our API is written in Scala, so experience with functional languages like Scala or Haskell is preferred.  Python and/or Java is nice to have.
  • We deal with complex SQL queries over larger data sets in PostgreSQL, so deep knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL is preferred.
  • Experience in the design and development of web based APIs.  We are currently utilizing JSON over HTTP(S).
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) along with a track record of success completing often ambiguous projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related major as well as 5 or more years of experience.  Demonstrated knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
