In this sales role, we are looking for a bright, articulate, high-energy sales professional, with a proven track record in account growth and new business wins, ready to make the next step up.  Ideally, you will have a working understanding of the online marketing landscape, and have sold data or technology solutions into a marketing audience.  However, sales skills and aptitude are of primary importance.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Exceed annual sales targets through client retention, growth and new logo business.
  • Build-out relationships in existing client base to find new cross- / up-sell opportunities.
  • Proactively generate new license license revenues, including effective lead sourcing (cold calling, ailing, referrals etc.), opportunity development and deal negotiation.
  • Strive to create a consistent pipeline of new and advanced opportunities, at a size and quality that will convert to plan achievement.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business and persuasively demonstrate how the entire comScore Europe solution suite can help them achieve their business goals.

 

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

 

  • 3+ years direct sales experience.
  • Experience with Media companies highly preferred
  • Proven track record of success across both client growth and new business.
  • Proactive, “hunter” instinct – enjoys creating and closing new opportunities.
  • Strong relationship builder – and can leverage those relationships for business gain.
  • Ideally a working understanding of online marketing, and how data and analytics can help companies achieve their goals.
  • Effective and engaging communicator – able to make the complex seem simple (and must have good writing skills for client emails and proposals).
  • Natural questioner and listener – intellectually curious.
  • Commercially astute – especially in proposing and negotiating solutions.

comScore is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer.  We do a great deal of our testing manually. We automate where we can, and then code those automated scripts using Ruby, JavaScript, or whatever the situation calls for. We’re looking for a great team member with strong manual testing experience to include: cross-browser, Windows & Mac OS (iPhone and Android are OK too!). Testing at the registry level or any router level testing experience would be very attractive as well.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identify functionality errors and potential risk with new development prior to Production launch
• Identify potential bugs in existing applications and document all issues into the defect tracking system
• Maintain communication channel with software engineers and project managers on current project status
• Assist Software Engineers with basic support in troubleshooting problems in development and production
• Understand and enforce the software release process for all application development
• Create and execute test suites and verify expected results
• Verify that all software releases conform to company policies on data handling
• Perform both manual and automated tests

Required Skills:
• 4+ years of software testing experience
• Thorough understanding of http and internet protocols
• Experience creating and executing test cases
• Hands on experience writing automation scripts
• Demonstrated ability to seek out bugs
• Time management skills & ability to multi-task
• Experience in testing multiple desktop, browsers and mobile platforms
• Ability to run basic Unix/Linux commands
• Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
• Strong communication skills for both technical (developers) and non-technical (customers, management) audiences
• A self-starter that is proactive, and highly motivated
• Ability to trouble-shoot various integrating systems effectively and resolve problems.

Preferred Skills:
• Ability to utilize SQL to retrieve and manipulate data
• Familiar with web debugging/sniffing tools
• Previous experience in a test lead or developer type role

Job Function:


This role is for a dedicated individual proficient in data analysis, design, and development of audience measurement products, Multi-Platform Media products, and Custom Solutions. The work the Manager produces will have direct impact to driving business strategies for prominent industry leaders. This person will analyze big data, diagnose potential issues, design process improvements, and collaborate across different functional teams. Self-motivation and strong communication skills are both must haves. This role will play an integral part in shaping the new narrative of digital measurement in the age of multiple devices and platforms.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop enhancements and create new products.
  • Fully test new concepts and integrate them into production process.
  • Build custom solutions to meet market needs for audience measurement reporting.
  • Participate in ongoing research and evaluation of new related technologies.
  • Exercise your experience in the development lifecycle through analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of this system.
  • Collaborate with teams in Software Engineering, Operations, and Product Management to deliver timely and high quality data. You will be a bridge between “the data” and our clients.


Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject such as Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, etc.
  • Experience in data analysis and problem solving with big data.
  • Experience with SQL or knowledge of relational databases and methods for efficiently retrieving data.
  • Ability to think creatively and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to autonomously manage simultaneous projects in a fast paced business environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written and computer communication skills with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • The nature of the team’s dynamics will require an individual that is able to work closely in a collaborative role with other team members, as well as complete tasks individually as assigned.


Preferred:

 

  • Hadoop or other comparable MapReduce experience.
  • Ability to develop advanced solutions in Python.
  • Experience with statistical software (ideally, R) or scientific computation software.
  • Experience with panel data and/or Internet behavior data.
  • Solid understanding of object oriented methodologies.
