Key Responsibilities

Key Qualifications

  • Manage team of up to three Product Managers in the Amsterdam and remote offices

-      Responsible for guiding the work of the individual Product Managers including:

-      Coaching and mentoring employees on best practices of Product Management (writing specifications, focusing on the important features and functionality, driving towards the vision of the roadmap)

-      Acting as a member of the team alongside direct reports – “team spirit” of management in which individual contribution by the Director is both expected for work completion and modeling work ethic and work quality to the team

-       Solid understanding of web development and client/server technologies; have knowledge and be able to question and challenge product feasibility, configuration and scope on user interface, API, application layer and server architecture proposals.

-       Experience with Agile development methods 

-       Proven ability to work in cross functional teams, with all levels of management

-       Hands on experience with analytics tools and understanding of online measurement

-       Ability to articulate a concept from business strategy (value proposition, solution, positioning) to technical requirements across multiple levels of the organization (Sales, Marketing, Executives, Product and Engineering)
