Mr. Davenport joined Cerberus in 1996 and is responsible for overseeing and managing the firm's investments in stressed and distressed debt on a global basis. Prior to Cerberus, he was a principal at Vestar Capital Partners, where he was responsible for identifying, analyzing and executing leveraged buyout opportunities. Previously, he worked in the mergers and acquisitions group at Drexel Burnham. Mr. Davenport graduated from the University of California. He previously served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Crossroads School for Arts and Sciences and Heal the Bay.
