                Social Networking Accounts for Largest Share of Minutes in Mexico
An analysis of how Internet users in Mexico spend their time online  revealed that Social Networking now leads all categories based on total  minutes, accounting for 28.6% of time spent online in July  up  from 12.8% a year ago. Portals accounted for 27.6% of time  spent, followed by Instant Messengers with 16.5%. Mexicans  affinity for entertainment content resulted in 14.2% of online  minutes spent on Entertainment sites, while E-mail rounded out the top  five with 6.9% share of minutes.
