MDA and Comscore Release Rankings of Top Web Entities in Malaysia for July 2015

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, September 29, 2015 – The Malaysian Digital Association (MDA), the apex representative body for online publishers, advertising agencies and digital service providers in Malaysia, and Comscore, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCOR), a global media measurement and analytics company, today released their monthly rankings of web activity for the top online entities in Malaysia for July 2015 based on data from the Comscore MMX™ and Comscore Mobile Metrix® services.

MAYBANK2U.COM.MY and MUDAH.MY held their respective top 2 positions in the top 30 local web entities ranking in July 2015, compared to June 2015. FREEMALAYSIATODAY.COM and LELONG.COM.MY saw the biggest jump, climbing 8 spots to #15 and #18. THEMALAYMAILONLINE.COM, KINITV.COM, MOBILE88.COM, SINCHEW.COM.MY and POCKETIMES.MY were new entrants to the top 30 ranking compared to June 2015.

Top 30 Web Properties Visited from Desktop Computers in Malaysia
Google Sites, Facebook, Yahoo Sites and Microsoft Sites held their respective top 4 spots in the top 30 web properties ranking in July 2015, compared to June 2015. Amazon Sites and Malaysiakini Sites saw the biggest jump, climbing 10 positions to #12 and #18.

Top 20 Web Properties Visited from Mobile Devices in Malaysia
Malaysiakini Sites ranked as the #1 web property in July 2015 with 2,881,000 unique visitors, followed by Astro Group with 2,594,000 and Media Prima Group with 2,251,000. New to the chart compared to June 2015 were Mail Online / Daily Mail and ROTIKAYA.COM. Malaysiakini Sites ranked #1 position in terms of tablet audience with 367,000 unique visitors, followed by Astro Group with 337,000. In terms of engagement, MUDAH.MY held their top position on smartphones with 170,687,000 pages viewed, followed by Malaysiakini Sites with 62,616,000 and Yahoo Sites with 36,422,000.
