Mobile Metrix Provides Browser and App Audience Measurement for Both Types of Mobile Devices

Istanbul, Turkey, April 3, 2014 - Comscore, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCOR), a global leader in digital measurement and analytics, today announced the introduction of Mobile Metrix® in Turkey for reporting of mobile browser and app audiences on smartphones and tablets. This service can help publishers demonstrate the size and value of their mobile audiences and help media planners and buyers better evaluate advertising opportunities on mobile devices. Mobile Metrix was the first service of its kind to market in the U.S. and it is now available in seven markets worldwide, including Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Malaysia and The Netherlands.

“Understanding user behavior across smartphones and tablets has important implications for advertisers and publishers in Turkey, especially with so much consumer activity shifting to these devices. Mobile Metrix will provide the Turkish digital industry with better insights to help most effectively serve content across the different channels,” Neslihan Sas Mesutoglu, Head of Digital Advertising, Turkuvaz Media Group, Istanbul, Turkey.

Mobile Metrix helps to answer the following questions:

  • What is the size and audience composition of mobile sites and apps?
  • How does mobile usage at various publishers break down between smartphones and tablets?
  • How do mobile audiences vary by operating system?
  • Which web sites / apps / content categories are growing fastest on mobile platforms?
