SUMMARY

The Graphic Designer is responsible for design and production of printed pieces, environmental graphics and Website/interactive materials for various departments within the company under the direction of the Vice President, Corporate Marketing.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Create graphics, typography and layout for marketing campaigns, print ads, collateral, Websites, event graphics, PowerPoint and Prezi presentations and other design-based deliverables on an as-needed basis
  • Works directly with internal teams and the entire Marketing Department to create visual materials
  • Designs within provided Brand Guidelines for all visual solutions
  • Video production and animation skills a plus

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Prezi. Display strong typographic skills and color theory. Must be able to work independently with art direction. Ability to handle multiple details through prioritization and organization. Exhibit attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrate strong communication skills and work well within a team environment.

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We love insights and want the world to see what is possible with our data.  You will be responsible for designing and directing marketing activities, along with your team, for the EMEA region and will be based in our London office along with leadership for comScore’s international efforts.

  • Strategic Direction: Develop market plans and define Campaigns to support sales and company goals in EMEA. With Product Marketing, decide which global Programs to adopt into Campaigns and/or Regional Campaigns to create locally. Determine the allocation of local marketing budget accordingly.
  • Execution: Manage the delivery of outbound marketing campaigns and activities in EMEA, such as public relations, case studies, testimonials, digital marketing, event marketing, and marketing communication, according to budget and according to agreed metrics, with support from Corporate Marketing teams and Product Marketing as appropriate.
  • Commercially Focused: Understand the sales targets in EMEA, by product and renewal/new and track performance against targets. Work closely with local sales teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: Define addressable markets for product groups in EMEA and comScore’s estimated market share, collating the relevant stats on the given market and comScore’s client base by industry segments. Feed competitive intelligence from sales into Regional Product Marketing.
  • Database Management: Work with sales to ensure that there is a comprehensive, segmented and up-to-date database of our clients, prospects and key industry influencers for EMEA.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Management or equivalent required.
  • 2-4 years’ work experience - preferably - in media, market research or ad technology.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise with autonomy in an extremely fast-paced environment.
  • Culturally sensitive and the ability to deal with a diverse range of internal and external customers.
  • Ability to interact with senior level employees, customers, and partners.
  • Proven leadership capabilities.
  • Result- and data-driven.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish would also be an advantage

JOB FUNCTION:

The Public Relations Manager is responsible for creating and implementing external and internal media relations and corporate communications efforts and strategy in support of comScore's mission to measure what matters to make audiences, consumer behavior and advertising more valuable. The Public Relations Manager will largely be focused on securing media hits and increasing public recognition of comScore within the mass media and advertising communities, and should have a fundamental knowledge of and experience within the digital and traditional media sectors. A member of the Corporate Communications branch of the overall Corporate Marketing team, the Public Relations Manager will report directly to the VP, Corporate Communications and work closely with the Executive Leadership, Product, Sales, Investor Relations and Corporate teams to translate key messages about comScore's products, initiatives, people, culture and values with internal and external audiences.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLILITIES:

  • Manage development and execution of communications strategies for a range of external and internal materials, including public/media relations and internal communications best practices and protocols
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key media figures across broadcast, print and digital outlets
  • Develop and deliver strategic, customized pitches for various media outlets based on individual corporate and product initiatives
  • Keep up-to-date with business/industry trends within the media, advertising and entertainment sectors
  • Support executive communications needs for internal and external audiences including development of content, presentations and talking points consistent with overall corporate messaging
  • Manage and provide recommendations for corporate memberships, programs and services related to overall corporate initiatives
  • Support Investor Relations efforts, as needed  
  • Be able to apply creative executions to an overall strategy
  • Influence internal and external stakeholders using a thoughtful communication plan in presenting and defending ideas and recommendations
  • Collaborate well in a team environment, but also take initiative and work independently

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7-10 years of previous relevant industry experience, with at least 5 years of corporate communications/media relations experience
  • B.A. Communications, Public Relations or related field
  • Background in and fundamental knowledge of media and advertising industries
  • Proven experience building and leading internal communications and working collaboratively with a broad range of internal partners in a large, geographically dispersed organization
  •  Functional communication skills in key areas such as public relations, speech writing, and community engagement
  • Proven ability to significantly influence internal and external stakeholders using a thoughtful communication plan to align people or groups
