Twitter Leads Japan Social Networking Market

In November 2010, Twitter passed Mixi to become the most-visited social networking destination in Japan.

In December 2010, Twitter reached 14.6 million unique visitors an increase of 176% from the previous year as the site continued to gain traction in the market. Mixi saw 13.5 million visitors in December, while Facebook reached 6.1 million visitors.
