Account Executive

About This Role:

Our Account Executive will be critical in growing Comscore’s marketplace presence at Fortune 500 Brands, Agencies and Media companies. Having experience in both syndicated (SaaS) sales and analytics/data products, this individual will need to have solid experience in selling annual enterprise contracts, as well as an impressive track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets. The ideal candidate will also have impressive domain expertise and established relationships in digital marketing, publishing and advertising. High energy and persistence are key.

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Consistently close new business at or above quota level
  • Managing all phases of the sales lifecycle including prospecting and developing leads;
  • Traveling to and meeting with clients; developing value propositions; financial deal structuring, contract negotiation and closing
  • Serve as a brand enthusiast for Comscore’s suite of products and solutions
  • Generate quality partnerships with your personal portfolio of prospects
  • Build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Customer Success and Technology departments
  • Execute an effective and relevant sales strategy (as the firm introduces enhancements to existing solutions and/or releases new products)
  • Bring creative ideas, strategies, and skills to advance our company’s values, unique culture, and vision for the future
  • Establishing an executable strategy which includes leveraging your existing business relationships and personal networks to generate sales leads for your pipeline

 

What You’ll Need:

 

  • A high energy, optimistic and highly motivated sales professional with a proven track record of success with enterprise software client-side experience
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills a must
  • 3 years minimum direct experience with business development/sales required,
  • Experience in web analytics software or research products and solution suite strongly preferred
  • strong understanding of social media and analytics as well as primary and secondary research and how this information can be applied to help clients to achieve their goals
  • Experience with hosted solutions in selling software as a service (SaaS), specific to the analytics space
  • A relentless work ethic and a desire to learn a new skill set, develop additional expertise and create the future of digital business analytics
  • A market research background a plus
  • Established contacts and relationships within the industry a plus
  • Proactive, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
