comScore Releases February 2015 U.S. Desktop Online Video Rankings
RESTON, VA, March 20, 2015 – comScore, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCOR), a leader in measuring the digital world, today released data from the comScore Video Metrix® service showing that 188.6 million Americans watched online content videos via desktop computer in February 2015. Google Sites ranked as the top video content property, BrightRoll Platform was the top video ad property, and VEVO topped the list of YouTube partner channels.
Top 10 Video Content Properties by Unique Viewers
Google Sites, driven primarily by video viewing at YouTube.com, ranked as the top online video content property in February with 144.6 million unique viewers. Facebook ranked #2 with 90.4 million viewers, followed by AOL, Inc. with 66.8 million, Yahoo Sites with 52.5 million and AnyClip Media with 43.3 million.
*A video is defined as any streamed segment of audiovisual content, including both progressive downloads and live streams. For long-form, segmented content, (e.g. television episodes with ad pods in the middle) each segment of the content is counted as a distinct video stream. Video views are inclusive of both user-initiated and auto-played videos that are viewed for longer than 3 seconds.
Top 10 Video Ad Properties by Unique Viewer Percent Reach
BrightRoll Platform ranked #1 in video ad reach, serving ads to 51.5 percent of the total U.S. population in February. Specific Media came in second with 51.4 percent reach, followed by LiveRail with 46.6 percent, AOL, Inc. with 39.7 percent and TubeMogul Video Advertising Platform with 32.6 percent.

Top 10 YouTube Partner Channels by Unique Viewers
The February 2015 YouTube partner data revealed that video music channel VEVO maintained the top position in the ranking with 42.5 million viewers. Disney/Maker Studios occupied the #2 spot with 40.7 million unique viewers, followed by Fullscreen with 33.2 million, Warner Music with 25.7 million and Machinima with 25.1 million.
