JOB FUNCTION

 

The Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between comScore and several of our key clients to maximize usage and satisfaction with comScore’s products and services, resulting in customer retention and up-selling additional services. They are to create and maintain ongoing relationships with their account base by offering outstanding customer service, training, and regular contact.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Establish strong and productive relationships with clients, including client personnel from research, ad sales, business development, buying, planning or other points of contact.
  • Familiarization with comScore’s Television products and delivery platforms: TV Essentials, Station View Essentials, Rubik, and Multiscreen Essentials.
  • Understand the principle business objectives and goals of the account, and how comScore services help the account meet those objectives.
  • Build client relationships by acting as the interface between CSRs and Sales teams.
  • Proactively manage client communications, responding promptly to questions, concerns and problems.
  • Monitor client logins to the comScore site and provide account reviews to ensure clients are maximizing use and value, and, as a result, are extremely satisfied and knowledgeable of all comScore’s services.
  • Identify opportunities for up-selling comScore’s products to existing clients.
  • Act as the customer advocate internally to comScore to ensure project goals, needs and issues are clearly understood by internal departments, and provide clarity as needed.
  • In a proactive manner, look for ways to improve client deliverables, anticipate customer needs, and offer creative solutions.
  • Serve as internal expert on each assigned account. Answer client questions and ensure any issues are resolved.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal comScore teams (CSRs, Sales, AS, and IT)
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations, analyze data, and maintain account information in CRM
  • Travel to client locations and attend meetings as necessary

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE  

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university
  • Competency working with complex research/measurement data
  • Minimum three years’ experience within Agency, Network or Research environment
  • Strong data, analytics, and decision making abilities
  • Demonstrated success in managing executive relationships and delivering to client needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate well with people at all levels of an organization both internally and externally, both written and verbally
  • Ability to formulate action plans and execute initiatives.
  • Outstanding project management, presentation, and customer service skills

Day-to-day your focus will be in data analysis, design, and development of Cross-Platform audience measurement products. LEADERSHIP

  • Deliver/share trending and key insights with clients beyond the individual study to help them gain broader insights and understand the use cases for our data. Look to incorporate additional comScore data assets to tell a holistic story with BSLs, OSLs. ALs (for example, if purchased, vCE or syndicated data sources could be included.)
  • Proactively talk to clients about what met their needs and where there are opportunities for improvement in future projects.  
  • Drive future business by actively listening during meetings for clues of dissatisfaction/satisfaction/needs, frustrations with comScore or other vendors. Ask clients questions about upcoming campaigns and actively communicate with sales and provide potential leads.
  • Proactively share new learnings from cases, BSL/AL/OSL deliveries, work with emerging products, client calls, etc. with the broader team to ensure all team members are updated on new findings.
  • Proactively communicate with the product team and vertical teams to enhance client deliverables by leveraging past project experience.
  • Lead trainings for new team members, help to develop materials for trainings, and offer support to help answer questions.
  • Begin reviewing other team members work and providing feedback.  Work with new team members to formulate actionable insights for the client based on the data.

 

COMMUNICATION

  • Independently lead in-person and WebEx meetings
  • Master storytelling with data best practices with little oversight by a manager
  • Strong ability to escalate issues in a constructive manner and to the proper person
  • Be an active participant with team objectives (taskforces) , team meetings, and cross-functional or cross-team partnerships
  • Proactively engage clients with comScore data and how the data/research is relevant to their campaign goals and meeting their needs.

KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT

We are looking for a Staff Data Engineer to join our team.

 

What our team does:

We build data processing pipelines that handle 100+ terabyte datasets. We automate as much as we can so that we can stay focused on writing code. We troubleshoot and quickly resolve issues. We work with Analysts and Data Scientists to design and implement new methodology.

 

As a staff engineer, you're a senior individual contributor, who is well-versed in design, proof of concept development, methodology and architecture. Your previous big data experience will have been on production products delivered on systems such as Hadoop. 

 

What you bring:

  • 10+ years of professional programming experience
  • You have a solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
  • You write good code and take pride in that fact regardless of which language you are currently using

In this Sales Director role, you'll be at the forefront of telling comScore’s story to the CPG marketplace with a focus on expanding comScore’s footprint of industry-leading advertising evaluation, optimization and brand monitoring solutions in North America. The Sales Director develops the strategy and associated tactics for identifying and then personally closing new business opportunities. He/she is accountable for meeting/exceeding revenue targets.

 

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Individually manage sales across a wide list of key clients as well as generate new business from existing customers and prospective clients.
  • Lead discovery sessions to identify the customer’s key needs and pain points.
  • Work with the prospect in a consultative fashion to develop a digital strategy vision and position comScore’s offering as an instrumental part of that vision.
  • Conduct storytelling product demonstrations that highlight the value the solution brings to the client
  • Consistently deliver individual sales targets every quarter
  • Guide the expansion of comScore’s analytics solution suite across all industry sectors, including but not limited to agencies and advertisers
  • Develop solid, strategic relationships with key decision makers at targeted accounts as well as internal account relationship stakeholders

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A highly motivated consultative sales professional with a proven track record of success in enterprise software sales;
  • 4-5 years minimum direct sales experience preferably in the media research, media analytics or CPG industry
  • Previous experience as a sales engineer or pre-sales consultant supporting an enterprise software solution highly desired
  • Relentless work ethic and a desire to learn a new skill set, develop additional expertise and create the future of cross-platform and digital business analytics
  • Familiarity with page tagging and census data collection methods a plus
  • Market research background is a big plus

JOB FUNCTION
 
The Director of Client Services provides leadership, guidance and structure for the Portland Client Services team. This team is the front line for all client requests for the comScore TV supported products. Client Services is responsible for promptly and professionally responding to internal and external email and phone inquiries related to the functionality of all comScore TV products. This position is also responsible for internally distributing supported product System Updates to align with MRC accreditation, posting notification, and sending out client facing communication. The Director of Client Insights is responsible for implementing and carrying out the internal and external user audit to align with SOX compliancy.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Oversee the daily responses of Client Service Associates (CSR), (Linear TV and VOD) to client inquiries, escalating to appropriate departments when necessary
• Work with the appropriate staff to ensure the resolution of all escalated client service issues
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for all functions of Client Services
• Develop and maintain a reporting and tracking system for bugs
• Monitor new contracts and contract expiration for all supported TV products
• Create and maintain individual product demonstration videos for internal and external client use
• Establish strong and productive relationships with senior-level management for internal dissemination of Product issues
• Oversee the CSRs in assisting additional departments in the execution of client deliverables
• Work with internal Operations and Content teams to provide client facing MVPD reporting issues
• Become an expert in the multi-screen products, understanding not just the methodology but also the application of the products
• Provide product leads with feedback for the various TV products
• Oversee the implementation of systems to more accurately track and manage customer inquiries and systemize responses where applicable
• Ensure all SOX and MRC requirements related to Client Services are being followed.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Develop and lead a team of Client Services Representatives/Associate Analyst by establishing performance goals, providing bi-annual and annual performance reviews, and supporting team and individual employee development
• Communicate and manage expectations for work adherence and compliance, accuracy and achievement of service level
• Facilitate positive employee relations by fostering an environment of open communication, approachability, and fair and consistent treatment of employees

 

QUALIFICATIONS


• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications and/or similar field.
• 5 years’ experience managing a team of Client Services Associates
• 8 years’ experience in a client facing role
• Demonstrated experience implementing tracking and managing customer requests and inquiries via client management software
• 4 years’ experience reading and interpreting statistical data and reports
• Experience with quantitative and qualitative media research highly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
• Self-starter with energetic and positive attitude
• High attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of productivity software including; MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to multi-task and meet internal and client deadlines
