Germany Top 20 May 2014

May 2014 highlights:

  • In May 2014, 58 million users in Germany accessed the Internet through their desktop computers or laptops, with 45.7 million watching videos online.
  • Among the Top 20 Online Property ranking, top gainers included ProSiebenSat1 Sites (+7%), Glam Media (+5%), Microsoft Sites and Yahoo Sites, which both gained 4% versus April 2014, respectively.
  • Facebook reclaimed its #2 position with nearly 3 in 5 Germans visiting the social networking site during the month.
  • VEVO was among the fastest growing video destinations in May. The property climbed to the #7 position in the Top 20 Video Property ranking to reach 7.6 million viewers, an increase of 25% versus the previous month.
