Survey Research Manager (Toronto, Canada)

The Survey Research Manager will be responsible for coordinating all activities from project initiation to the creation of the final deliverables of custom survey research projects for comScore clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sales Director will support the company's goals through a range of consulting, analytic and business development functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling our unique analyses and research services to prospects and partners; leveraging comScore’s core capabilities to address clients' strategic and tactical marketing challenges. This Sales Director will:

Senior Client Service Analyst (Reston, VA, United States)

The Sr. Analyst will assist in management of comScore’s relationships with the top media and entertainment companies, prepare analyses, manage deliveries of comScore data, and help clients gain business value from that data. He or she will be responsible for providing superior client service to these firms including product training and timely/informative responses to client inquiries. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Deliver exceptional client service support to leading media and entertainment clients including product training, timely/informative responses to client inquiries, and sensitivity to clients’ business objectives/goals
  • Become an expert in comScore syndicated products
  • Support ongoing deliveries of comScore data; help clients understand the data and gain business value from said deliverables
  • Assist clients in understanding and analyzing syndicated data points. This will include managing the client’s syndicated dictionary, analyzing large amounts of data, researching changes in trends, preparing spreadsheet reports and sharing findings with clients

QUALIFICATIONS:

Open Source Engineer (Linux Operations) (Chicago, IL, United States)

comScore is seeking someone to join its world-class Open Source Engineering team within IT Operations. The right candidate will provide essential support for comScore’s critical internal infrastructure, utilities and core services. They will ensure various services and technologies including Hadoop, Data Collection, Enterprise Monitoring, MySQL, DNS, Domains, and SSL certificates continue to function, deliver, and optimally perform 24/7.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage comScore’s Hadoop environment
  • Perform day-to-day system administration duties on Linux servers across comScore's environments, supporting business-critical systems.
  • Respond to and resolve incident tickets and monitoring alerts
  • Automate common procedures used to resolve Incidents and monitoring alerts
  • Standardize and document common procedures that can’t be easily automated for hand-off to other resources or teams for execution
  • Participate in 24x7 on call schedule of production systems

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience)
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, webservers and LAN/WAN environments
  • Knowledge of basic OS internals (file systems, storage, process lifecycle, etc)
  • Experience with various Linux distributions (e.g. Redhat/CentOS/Ubuntu)
  • Experience developing scripts and automating tasks in languages like Perl, Bash, and/or Python

  • Experience collaborating and managing source code with Git
