The Survey Insights Analyst will be responsible for coordinating all activities from project initiation to the creation of the final deliverables for custom survey research projects for comScore clients. In this role, the Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Lead Analyst and Senior Manager in consulting with clients regarding project scope and methodology, in order to deliver strategic deliverables that meet the client's objectives.

 

What You'll Do In This Role:

  • Assist in managing multiple research projects concurrently, utilizing a variety of research methodologies/approaches (ex., panel based, on-device, online advertising effectiveness, online focus groups, website evaluations)
  • Participate in the development of questionnaires
  • Oversee all data-related aspects of project execution (e.g., quality control assurance from fielding through report delivery)
  • Communicate the progress of survey research projects to clients to ensure they align with client's research objectives - this includes communication to anticipate challenges related to survey design, fielding/data collection, and project deliverables.
  • Assist in analyzing data sets in order to communicate compelling insights to clients. Perform basic analysis of survey research results, including sub-group analysis for inclusion in reports. Basic analysis to include:
    • Produce descriptive analyses of results consistent with client research objectives
    • Perform basic analyses of statistical significance using accepted measures such as t-tests, chi square and analysis of variance
    • Creation and implement of weighting schemes with supervision
  • Take the lead on designing/creating reports/presentations based on client needs
  • Support the preparation of client presentations
  • Support existing clients with company's growth objectives in mind

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Social Sciences, or quantitative field
  • Experience in an online environment/using online methodologies is required. Experience with custom research, especially quantitative custom research is an asset. Strong attention to detail and quality is required.
  • Understanding of survey execution needs and requirements
  • Proficiency in SPSS is a strong asset.

  • Microsoft Office proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong Client-Facing skills: You'll need to have a proven ability to manage and develop ongoing client relationships.
  • Experience determining client requirements and coordinating with product development is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, including both written and verbal, and presentation skills

This Specialist will help support comScore’s relationships with clients at media companies and agencies by supporting deliveries of comScore data, and preparing/delivering reports and analyses. This person will strengthen the existing client service team and  provide support to  our account team where appropriate. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Deliver exceptional client service support to the client service and account teams
  • Communicate regularly with your peers concerning analyses and reports being built for client use.
  • Data investigations, working with internal comScore teams to effectively launch projects, performing data quality assurance checks and investigations, analyzing large amounts of data, researching changes in trends, preparing spreadsheet reports and slide presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, working together to keep projects on track and resolving issues as they arise
  • Deliver custom reports and analyses that address clients’ business questions and goals
  • Become an expert in comScore Audience and Advertising Effectiveness products

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative or technical field
  • 2-4 years of work experience that includes analytical experience
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills a must
  • Experience in a consulting role, with an advertising agency or with a digital media company is a plus
  • Experience with syndicated data or custom market research is a plus
  • Proven proficiency with numbers and statistics, experience in analyzing large amounts of data, and an ability to consolidate and translate that data into business insight would be a bonus
  • Project management skills, including the abilities to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and work effectively with colleagues and clients in diverse departments, geographic locations, and time zones
  • Solid communication skills, including both written and verbal
