Data Partners

Data Partners collect or receive information including personal information about an individual’s use of their services, browser, or device when individuals use their products, sites, or applications. Data Partners collect this information in accordance with their privacy policies and share it with Comscore for various purposes.

For example, a Data Partner may share unique identifiers (e.g., an online identifier such as a cookie ID), demographic information (e.g., age and gender), or geolocation data (e.g., country, city, and state) with Comscore, to match against Comscore’s existing data. Comscore uses this information for models, for research and in its products and services, including for audience measurement and for market and advertising research, analytics, transacting and planning purposes.

  • Google
    Information collected by Google and shared with Comscore may include YouTube streaming data and ad exposure data. This information may be combined with other panelist personal information as described in the applicable Comscore panelist privacy policy. This information is used to measure audiences and ad performance across platforms.

    As additionally described in the applicable Comscore panelist privacy policy, we may work with YouTube LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Google LLC, (“YouTube”) to obtain information about videos, advertisements, and other content that has streamed on devices subject to the panelist agreement on the YouTube platform (which includes the YouTube website, the YouTube app, and where the YouTube player appears on other sites or apps). To obtain such information from YouTube, we may send YouTube certain data that identifies you (such as your name or email addresses) or your mobile device(s) (such as a device advertising identifier). You agree that YouTube may (i) receive such information from Comscore; (ii) associate this information across the different accounts you may have with YouTube and/or Google; and (iii) share information with Comscore about the videos that have streamed, including advertisements and other content that has streamed on devices subject to the panelist agreement on YouTube’s platform. Comscore may join and store the information received by Comscore from such YouTube with your personal information as described in the applicable Comscore panelist privacy policy; and will only use information received from YouTube for market research purposes in accordance with the applicable Comscore panelist privacy policy. YouTube will not be allowed to advertise, promote, or market goods or services directly to you because of your participation in this panel and must keep the information shared by Comscore confidential.
    Except as otherwise provided in this Third Party Consent, YouTube will collect and process data in accordance with its privacy policies.
    You will be able to opt out of third party data sharing after you complete and submit your registration form.

Service Providers
