Senior Client Insights Analyst

THE ROLE & TEAM:

The Financial Services team within our Client Insights group is looking to hire a seasoned senior or lead analyst for their team. This team works with big national and international clients from the Banking industry. Team members are spread out between our Boston, San Francisco and Reston offices, and you’ll be working amongst highly curious, smart and analytical savvy colleagues in a collaborative environment. This specific position will be based out of Reston and work with the Digital Payments industry (Fortune 100 & Fortune 500 companies).

The team is responsible for all things related to Digital Payments; think about combining competitive intelligence, business analysis and market research with customer engagement and user analytics & demographics. As Banking and Payment providers are moving more and more into the online & digital space, this is a great role to be at the forefront of this growing market and help shape the industry and offerings.

In this role you will work closely together with our Survey Insights, Sales and Analytics teams, to deliver strategic consulting services to our Financial Services clients. You will work on expanding and maintaining client relationships and deliver compelling client presentations based on data analysis, competitive intelligence and market research.

To be successful in this role you will need to have experience with:

  • Creating & presenting strong, visually pleasing and compelling PowerPoint decks to clients.
  • Excellent communication (verbal/written) and storytelling skills.
  • A strong consumer and market research background, preferably in the digital space.
  • Project management and complex problem solving.
  • Heavy Excel usage for analytical work is required. Think Pivot tables, V lookup etc. (SQL is not a requirement that the team is looking for in this role.)

 QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or quantitative field.
  • Experience in a Client Facing role a plus.
  • 3-7 years of work experience in an analytical role (preferably involving business/financial analysis and consumer/market research).
  • Experience working in Financial Services, credit cards, payment networks, e-Commerce, m-Commerce and the Digital Payments industry (B2B & P2P) is a plus but not required.
  • Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, lookup, etc.) and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Strong problem solving, communication and project management skills.
  • Team player willing to help others.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
