JOB FUNCTION

Content Specialists are responsible for reviewing incomplete title content in a variety of comScore OnDemand systems and completing information in order to ensure all data in the comScore OnDemand systems is accurate. The primary responsibility of this role is to review and complete title information on a daily basis in an accurate and efficient manner in order to meet reporting deadlines.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Integrate incoming data into comScore On Demand systems in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Perform web-based research and data entry in order to set up new titles with complete and accurate metadata.
  • Troubleshoot data issues in order to provide accurate and complete information in comScore On Demand systems.
  • Coordinate with IT, Data Analysts, and Client Services to provide complete and accurate information.
  • Provide input and feedback on Content Management user interface and procedures.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, including experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, such as Excel and Word
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience using internet search engines such as Google to research issues and obtain information.
  • Minimum of 1 year data entry experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum of 1 year in a role requiring analytical skills and problem solving.
  • Demonstrated experience providing outstanding attention to detail.

We do a great deal of our testing manually, based on the nature of the work we do. We do automate where we can, using customized or internal tools, whatever the situation calls for. We are looking for a great team member with strong manual testing experience to include: cross-platform (Windows, Mac OS, Mobile) and networking to join an exciting, high-growth environment.

 

This is a unique role within our testing team, as it is part QA and testing, but also a heavy research-focused role. We're looking for someone with a solid testing background and detail-oriented mindset, but also someone who would have a great interest in researching new technologies that we will need to test as well. For example, if we want to test the user experience on the Netflix, and understand the data flow, this person will research the inner workings of that website and app. It's a great role for a self-motivated person who like's uncovering hidden gems in their work. If you've come from a support and/or testing role that required some deep technical investigation, this may be exactly what you're looking for. 

 

What You'll Do In This Role:

  • Develop test cases to effectively and efficiently test new capabilities and bug fixes, identify potential bugs in existing applications and document all issues into the defect tracking system
  • Assists in research tasks at all points of Product and Project development process as needed, including market research, and potential research projects related to network hardware
  • Apply lessons learned and industry best practices into the testing cycles and verify that all software releases conform to company policies on data handling
  • Document and maintain configuration and process information
  • Assist Software Engineering Team with basic support in troubleshooting problems in development and production environments
  • Executing test scenarios and scripts, while adhering to strict deadlines
  • Performing software and system verification and validation testing using both manual and automated test tools
  • Research new platforms and technology to understand how we may be able to test these platforms in the future. 

Skills You'll Need: 

  • 3+ years of software testing experience
  • Thorough understanding of HTTP/HTTPS and internet protocols
  • Ability to quickly assimilate new technologies and information
  • Demonstrated ability to seek out bugs, with a "tester" mindset.
  • Time management skills & ability to multi-task
  • Possess the ability to adjust to shifting priorities and rapid change
  • Experience in creating and executing test cases for multiple desktop, browsers and mobile platforms

comScore has an immediate opening for a Software Developer to join our Exhibition Products Development team and work on these three products, as well as assist in the future development of new cross-platform, data-driven products for our clients, which include some of the largest movie theatre circuits in the world. The Software Developer will be responsible for .NET Development in the form of Windows Forms user interfaces as well as back-end Windows services and front-end/middle-tier web development. Prior experience with SQL Server 2008 or above is required. Our ideal candidate should be a self-starter with a strong technical background and the ability to work within a fast-paced development environment.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Develop an understanding of our products, industry and technologies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and drive a pipeline, sell and close prospective clients in Mexico with special focus on corporate prospects
  • High focus and interest to help advertisers optimize their Online Ad spending
  • Prospective clients will range from media companies, marketers, brands and advertising agencies
  • Work with reseller and partners as necessary
  • Taking care of the advertiser's account, for existing and new clients
  • Drive sales with a defined quota
  • Develop deep client relationships to secure renewals and up-sells



QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • A highly aggressive, proven sales professional with a proven track record of success
  • Must be bi-lingual Spanish & English
  • 5 years of direct sales experience required, online media sales experience is a must
  • Strong understanding of market research
  • Strong knowledge of the Mexican Internet landscape / market
  • Excellent communication skills, as well as working experience with domestic and international clients
  • Proven ability to independently manage and develop ongoing client relationships
  • A relentless work ethic and a desire to go the extra mile
  • Adaptable person who can deal with rapidly changing requirements of a start-up environment
  • A market research or analytic background is a big plus
  • Established contacts and relationships within the Mexican online industry
  • Experience with Ad validation tools (viewability, Non Human Traffic detection, etc) is a strong plus

JOB FUNCTION

 

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the success of the Analytical Solutions team, as both a revenue generating unit and a sales support team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure on-time delivery of analysis and data extractions and to communicate succinctly the status of assigned projects with Director of Analytical Solutions. This person will also be an initiator or contributor on the projects and studies being run through the group. The person in this role is expected to take initiative, work independently, and achieve goals based on direction provided by the Director of Analytical Solutions. The ability to manage goals and project deadlines is crucial.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates with Project Managers, Client Service team members, and Account Managers to accomplish on-time and on-budget execution of requested analysis    
  • Responsible for established and reoccurring custom analysis projects and effectively continues deliverables and client communication through completion of project    
  • Identifies invalid data and hypothesizes as root causes to troubleshoot    
  • Assists in the development of automating and streamlining custom work using ETL software and database query tools    
  • Produces timely, accurate deliverables    
  • Performs QA checks on custom work created by team.
  • Troubleshoots data collection issues    
  • Trains new team members and provides coaching and mentorship    
  • Serves as key go-to person for clients on all projects delivered    
  • Escalates issues when appropriate; navigates through internal teams easily

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

 

  • BA or BS in Media, Market Research, Communications, and/or related field
  • 0-2 years of related experience
  • Working knowledge of Alteryx, SAS, or other analytical software, as well as SQL or other programming language
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of clients
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
  • Self-motivated, and detail- and task-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Manager, Survey Insights - Healthcare (Chicago, US) Req ID: 19422

The Manager, Survey Insights will be responsible for coordinating all activities from project initiation to the creation of the final deliverables of custom survey research projects for comScore clients. In this role, the Manager, Survey Insights will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manager, Survey Insights in consulting with clients regarding project scope and methodology, in order to deliver strategic deliverables that meet the clients objectives.

 

You'll work closely with our analysts and internal operations teams as wel as our sales team to bring projects across the finish line. We'll want you to bring a mindset where you think the options through, we're looking for someone with a high level of research savvy. Using the best methodology is crucial to the work we do, and you'll have a wide variety of methodologies at your disposal in order to achieve the team's goals. 

 

What You'll Do In This Role:

  • Manage multiple research projects concurrently, utilizing a variety of research methodologies/approaches (ex., panel based, on-device, online advertising effectiveness, online focus groups, website evaluations)
  • Develop research questionnaires
  • Oversee all data-related aspects of project execution (e.g., quality control assurance from fielding through report delivery)
  • Monitor the progress of survey research projects to ensure they align with clients research objectives - this includes communication to anticipate challenges related to survey design, fielding/data collection, and project deliverables.
  • Analyze data sets in order to communicate compelling insights to clients.
  • Perform basic analysis of survey research results, including sub-group analysis for inclusion in reports.
  • Basic analysis to include:Produce descriptive analyses of results consistent with client research objectives
  • Perform basic analyses of statistical significance using accepted measures such as t-tests, chi square and analysis of variance
  • Creation and implement of weighting schemes with supervision
  • Design/create reports and presentations based on client needs
  • Prepare client presentations, final deliverables and an explanation of analyses
  • Support existing clients with company's growth objectives in mind

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in the Healthcare industry is needed for this role, based on the clients you'll be working with. 
  • Familiarity with SPSS is strongly preferred
  • Experience with programming languages, so that you can discuss options with our Survey Operations and Development team 
  • A penchant for embracing technology, and a willingness to focus on continual learning

As a Deliverables Analyst at comScore, you play an integral role in making sure that our deliverable survey data is accurate, and that our clients are receiving the data in a timely manner, as well as the format that is most suitable for their specific needs. This role will utilize your analytical skills, your creativity, and exercise your technical skills as well. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 In this role you will:

  • Provide support to the Research and Fielding departments by ensuring data captured through online research is valid and reliable.
  • Ensure data writes to the correct data location
  • Manipulate, consolidate and import/export data files utilizing various software packages
  • Perform various data search/retrieval procedures and maintain/archive data files
  • Monitor projects utilizing various quality control techniques including data comparison and report generation
  • Interface with the Research Department to address inquiries regarding various data files and prepare data files for analysis
  • Utilize knowledge of analytical tools such as SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences), SQL
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills
  • Coordinate and ensure timely delivery of all required deliverables to research teams
  • Ensure the department’s conformance to quality and deliverable expectations in accordance with customer and company requirements through metrics reporting. Evaluate workflow and systems to assist in optimizing quality and efficiencies
  • Represent department on cross-functional teams
  • Work on other duties and assignments as outlined by the manager

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Social Sciences and/or relevant quantitative/technical field
  • 1 - 3 years of market research and/or technical experience preferred
  • Previous experience with survey research desired, but it’s not a requirment
  • An aptitude towards technology combined with sharp analytical skills; attention to detail and a data quality
  • Pro-active & creative problem solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills
  • Professional maturity; good organizational skills, and a desire to join a fast-paced environment where your actions can have a direct impact on our business
  • Things that will push you to the front of the line:
  • Knowledge of SPSS/Excel and/or SQL (preferably)
  • Knowledge of Confirm IT or similar survey programming tools
  • Past experience with an online survey research company
  • Experience in handling large data sets.
