Tablets Drive Half of Non-Computer Traffic in Colombia

A look at how non-computer devices (which include mobile phones, tablets and other connected devices) are driving Internet consumption in selected Latin American markets found that tablets accounted for half of non-computer traffic in Colombia during August 2011 – one of the highest percentages for tablets seen across markets. Mobile phone browsing drove a relatively higher non-computer share of traffic in Argentina at 77%. In Brazil, mobile phones accounted for 60% of non-computer Internet traffic, while tablets drove 37%.
