comScore Trees for Knowledge Program

Measuring the digital world.
Giving life to knowledge.

The foundation of comScore is the data we collect from our panelists—all two million of them. Without the data, we would have nothing to analyze or report. As a leader in measuring the digital world, we also recognize the importance of environmental stewardship around the globe. comScore enables panelists to help shape the development of the Internet, and now we are pleased to announce comScore Trees for Knowledge, a major initiative to help them shape the future of the planet as well.

comScore Trees for Knowledge is a partnership with the non-profit organization Trees for the Future. comScore’s initial donation will support the planting of one million trees in developing communities throughout the world. Under this initiative, comScore has also pledged to continue to make donations when new panelists join and remain active in our global panel of Internet users.

Today there is real concern among consumers about global warming and strong interest in reversing the environmental damage from burning fossil fuels. comScore Trees for Knowledge is an easy way for consumers to do something good for the planet as well as foster development of impoverished rural areas in developing counties.

The trees we plant amount to acres and acres of green, foresting areas desperately in need of shade, erosion control, and oxygenation and give root to critical nutritional and commercial crops for the developing economies. It is our investment in the future and our commitment to giving life to knowledge.
