Germany Top 20 September 2014

September 2014 highlights:

  • In September 2014, over 80% of Germany’s 56 million users who went online via their desktop computers or laptops also consumed videos online (44.8 million Unique Viewers).
  • A 6% Month-on-Month increase in Unique Visitors helped eBay to claim #2 position in the Top 20 online property rankings for the first time since April 2014. In September, eBay reached over 58% of all German online users.
  • The inclusion of Tumblr.com into its dictionary structure in September 2014 had a visible impact on Yahoo Sites’s overall reported traffic volume. Yahoo Sites climbed by two positions to #11, driven by the second strongest audience increase within the Top 20 (+10%).
  • 34.4 million video streams provided by SnackTV Video Network were consumed by more than 7 million people aged 6+ in September 2014 – a total audience increase of 1.1 million Unique Viewers in comparison to the previous month.
