    comScore, a leading technology firm in the entertainment measurement industry,  is seeking a Compliance Project Manager (or coordinator) located in our Reston, VA headquarters.  The ideal candidate for this role will have had 1-3 years of compliance experience, including prior work in-house, some knowledge and familiarity with compliance programs and implementation, strong project management and organization skills, a go-getter, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, and be able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.   Strong teamwork ethic, ability to communicate at all levels, and negotiate with diplomacy a must, as is a proven ability to manage time and maintain a detail-oriented approach.  This person will be assisting with all compliance team members, including the General Counsel & Deputy General Counsel. This person will also work with senior members of the legal team and internal business leaders and help coordinate internal and external compliance review and monitoring activities.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assisting in project management and administration in the existing and new compliance and privacy programs and audits.
    • Assisting in the monitoring, research and review of the company operations.
    • Administration of compliance processes.
    • Assisting with compliance and certification requests; managing and monitoring deadlines, renewals, and related activities on a continuing basis.
    • Other administrative tasks within the contracts and compliance departments as necessary.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 1-3 years of experience with exposure to and increased responsibilities in privacy and compliance functions. JD a plus but not required.
    • Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced environment, self-starter, collaborator, well-organized, and solutions-driven with the ability to multi-task and manage a large volume of current priorities.
    • Proficiency with computer skills, project management and related programs; proven background in accurate, high volume data entry.
    • Proven ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritize.
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to successfully interact at all company levels.
    • Bonus: Knowledge of, and experience with a variety of state, federal, and international compliance privacy, security and/or data protection laws and regulations.

    JOB FUNCTION

    This position plays a critical role in ensuring the success of the Analytical Solutions team, as both a revenue generating unit and a sales support team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure on-time delivery of analysis and data extractions and to communicate succinctly the status of assigned projects with Sr Manager of Analytical Solutions. This person will also be an initiator or contributor on the projects and studies being run through the group. The person in this role is expected to take initiative, work independently, and achieve goals based on direction provided by the Sr Manager of Analytical Solutions. The ability to manage goals and project deadlines is crucial.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collaborates with Project Managers, IT/Engineering, Client Service team members, and Account Managers to accomplish on-time and on-budget execution of requested analysis   
    • Responsible for established and reoccurring custom analysis projects and effectively continues deliverables and client communication through completion of project   
    • Identifies invalid data and hypothesizes as root causes to troubleshoot   
    • Assists in the development of automating and streamlining custom work using ETL software and database query tools   
    • Produces timely, accurate deliverables   
    • Performs QA checks on custom work created by team.
    • Troubleshoots data collection issues   
    • Trains new team members and provides coaching and mentorship   
    • Serves as key go-to person for clients on all projects delivered   
    • Escalates issues when appropriate; navigates through internal teams easily

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    • BA or BS from an accredited institution
    • 2+ years of related experience
    • Working knowledge of Alteryx, SAS, or other analytical software, as well as SQL or other programming language preferred
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of clients
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
    • Self-motivated, and detail- and task-oriented
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
