Senior Statistical Analyst
The Senior Statistical Analyst position requires candidates with a strong interest in and experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods and data analysis. This position will be involved in monitoring and assessing the health of the demographics for the Comscore digital panels, while also researching new and more accurate ways of assigning them. The ideal candidate will bring a strong analytical and research methods focus to the role and will be able to work with other Comscore technology and methodology teams to proactively identify and resolve data quality issues and implement demographic enhancements. The ideal candidate should be able to communicate across internal teams in an effective manner and answer queries in both statistical and non-statistical terms.
What You’ll Do:
Monitoring the health of panel demographics by generating key reports to help identify issues and glean valuable insights for panel management
Maintaining key methodologies for assigning household and person level demographics
Providing support on questions regarding demographics assignments and trends in various countries
Assist in managing multiple research projects and/or analyses concurrently
Support media industry audit requirements for documentation and testing
What You’ll Need:
2+ year of data analysis or research experience
B.S./B.A. or M.S./M.A. in Business Intelligence, Statistics, Data Science or another quantitative or behavioral science field
Strong SQL and Python experience
Strong Microsoft Excel skills particularly using Pivot Tables
General understanding of panel-based research and demographic assignment
Experience in the digital space or experience with large datasets a plus
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to multi-task
Very high energy/positive attitude
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Shift:
The hours for this shift will be 2 pm – 11 pm IST. Occasionally, hours may vary as required for meetings with teams in other parts of the world. Additionally, for the first 4-6 weeks of onboarding and training, US Eastern time hours (IST -9:30) may be required to work with teams around the world on work vital to the future of Comscore and our clients.
