Job Title:     Senior Sales Compensation Specialist

Location:     Reston, VA

 

Job Function:

 

The Senior Sales Compensation Specialist will manage the design, planning and analytics for sales commissions and incentive award programs for the global salesforce with input from the Commercial and Sales Leads, as well as in coordination with the Commercial Operations, Finance and HR teams. Working closely with the VP Commercial Operations, this position will supervise the plan structure, planning, plan documents, quota setting, and performance reporting including detailed analysis of compensation performance for senior management and finance.

 

What You'll Do:

 

  • Organize the quarterly commissions process regarding performance reporting
  • Review and amend plan structure with input from Sales leadership and the members of the Commission Review Board
  • Revise plan structure as needed, based on input from Sales leadership and the members of the Commission Review Board
  • Plan for next year commission and incentive strategy, getting input from key Commercial leads as well as managing the aligned communications plan to participants
  • Updating and revising the commission and quota plan documents to ensure accuracy
  • Input into quota setting, managing the process with input from Sales leadership and the members of the Commission Review Board
  • Analyze sales performance results and prepares commission expense reports
  • Provides support for internal clients requesting explanations, clarifications, summaries and reports
  • Additional duties as required by business need

 

What You'll Need:

 

  • 3+ years of experience managing Sales Compensation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing sales compensation projects, ability to build relationships with senior levels of an organization
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience with Xactly administration, Salesforce, and reporting tools such as Excel
  • Bachelors degree in a related field
