Manager Internal Auditor

Per Executive Order 14042, new or prospective Comscore, Inc. employees in the United States, must provide proof of complete vaccination, or approved exemption on the first day of their employment.

Manages audits, oversees SOX compliance program, assesses risks and leads process improvement projects.

Key Activities:

  • Plans the audit schedule for the various departments and divisions within the organization
  • Prioritizes audit projects based on potential risks; assigns audit projects to staff, and oversees the completion of the work
  • Reports discrepancies; ensures that audit issues are well defined and root causes are identified
  • Provides guidance to other departments on the identification and documentation of required actions/policies, conformance tests and ongoing monitoring issues
  • Assesses risks and develops control processes ensuring SOX certification; continuously evaluates the scope and effectiveness of compliance programs
  • Monitors strategies to remedy SOX deficiencies; reports on status and clearance gaps to executive team
  • Supervises contractors or others, reviews, and directs their audit work; mentors, coaches for top performance; grows direct reports on appropriate career path; grows technical capability in others

Core Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
  • CPA, or CIA, certification preferred
  • Expert level knowledge of FASB requirements, GAAP accounting principles, practices, as well as tax reporting and SEC filing requirements
  • Ability to manage multiple projects; set priorities and timelines; address risks; make recommendations and effectively address issues
