Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Hybrid: Reston, VA, New York, NY or Remote (East Coast)
About This Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on and curious DevOps Engineer to help support and improve our technology infrastructure. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their DevOps career who enjoys problem-solving, learning new tools, and working closely with development teams to keep systems running smoothly.
Set up and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or similar).
Work with developers to configure applications and automate deployments.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to make releases faster and more reliable.
Manage servers, storage, and virtual machines.
Automate routine tasks like patching, monitoring, and backups.
Help monitor system performance and respond to alerts or help requests.
Follow security best practices for managing access, credentials, and updates.
1–3 years of experience in IT, cloud, or infrastructure administration.
Basic experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
Some knowledge of CI/CD tools (like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab).
A proactive approach to problem-solving and learning new technologies.
Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset.
Exposure to containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Knowledge of monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Grafana, or Datadog.
Interest in cloud certifications or professional growth in DevOps.
Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience and location.
