Job Title:     Manager, Account Management

Location:     New York or Remote


What You'll Do:


  • Manages a team of direct reports; hires, engages, mentors and coaches for top performance; grows and retains direct reports on appropriate career path.
  • May manage through subordinate managers
  • Analyzes and manages quantitative and qualitative client metrics; identifies areas in need of improvement and recommends solutions
  • Helps establish long-term performance objectives and initiatives for the team
  • Strives to meet and anticipate market demand; exercises proactive thinking
  • Ensures team has consistent track record of timely and accurate deliveries
  • Oversees and helps manage Mid-Tier Accounts within their direct reporting structure
  • Responds to escalated customer relationship or account issues
  • Establishes strong and productive relationships with client accounts, in-person and virtually
  • Proactively shares strategies and communications with sales leads to grow, improve and amplify relationships with clients
  • Maintains a strong knowledge of clients industry, competitive space and role in the market, including competitors, customers, and emerging trends
  • Regularly volunteers to handle ad-hoc requests, and is a significant resource to the larger Comscore organization
  • Partners with Product leads to translate client and team feedback related to data and products in order to influence the product roadmap and direction


What You'll Need:


  • 5+ years of work experience in a client facing position within analytics, audience measurement, advertising agency, marketing data solutions or digital media business
  • 2+ years of people and business management experience
  • Able to influence others with strong negotiation and partnering skills.
  • Strategic vision; ability to innovate.
  • Track record of mentoring and building direct reports on appropriate career paths; able to build organizational capability
  • Ability to create and drive efficiencies across the team and responsibly deploys and uses resources to encourage productive debate and out of the box thinking
  • 5+ years of account management experience
