Position:  Lead Data Center, International (Australia)

Location: Remote

About This Role:

The Lead Data Center will assist and cover for Manager and Supervisors. Monitor theatres normal reporting time and evaluate the need to contact or communicate with the day shift on issues that can be handled during the day.

 

This is a part-time position and candidates must be available 7 nights a week. Shifts will vary, and candidates must be willing to work on any night of the week (Evenings, Weekends & Holidays) as follows:

 

International shift hours: As early as 11:00pm and as late as 11:00am (subject to change based on time changes and department needs).

 

What You'll Do:  

  • Keep track of received data and source documents. Prepares and sorts source documents and identifies and interprets data to be entered
  • Researches and locates theaters to be entered
  • Enters alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into computer following format displayed on screen, and enters necessary codes
  • Researches pre-release data and contacts originator to confirm.
  • Contacts originators of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
  • Makes necessary corrections to information entered.
  • Successfully performs on job function in the Data Center with minimal mistakes
  • Helps peers as time permits
  • Makes suggestions to improve the processes.
  • Trained at and performs three different job functions in the Data Center with minimal errors
  • Takes initiative to float from job function to job function to meet department needs
  • Assists new Data Center Employees
  • Trains new employees as required my Manager
  • Assisting the Manager in the process of contacting theatres for missing grosses
  • Proactively research, collect and input new release movie title and release information into BOEs production database for publication to customers prior to release date (daily)
  • React to immediate title setup requests
  • Completes special projects as assigned
  • Assisting to manage and lead a team of 30+ call center associates
  • Helping to develop and deploy training programs emphasizing 100% data accuracy
  • Assisting in solving issues internally and/or referring issues to the appropriate management personnel

What You'll Need:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong communication skills are also needed as this person will Contact originators of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data
  • Must have excellent computer skills
  • 10 key experience preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to work nights. Shifts start at 11:00pm as late as 11:00am depending upon workload.
