Comscore Releases November 2014 U.S. Desktop Online Video Rankings

RESTON, VA, December 18, 2014 – Comscore, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCOR), a leader in measuring the digital world, today released data from the Comscore Video Metrix® service showing that 192 million Americans watched online content videos via desktop computer in November 2014. Google Sites ranked as the top video content property, AOL, Inc. was the top video ad property, and VEVO topped the list of YouTube partner channels.

Top 10 Video Content Properties by Unique Viewers
Google Sites, driven primarily by video viewing at YouTube.com, ranked as the top online video content property in November with 162.2 million unique viewers. AOL, Inc. ranked #2 with 103.7 million viewers, followed by Facebook with 95 million, Yahoo Sites with 56.3 million and AnyClip Media with 55.1 million.

Top 10 Video Ad Properties by Unique Viewer Percent Reach
AOL, Inc. ranked #1 in video ad reach, serving ads to 54.7 percent of the total U.S. population in November. BrightRoll Platform came in second with 54.5 percent reach, followed by LiveRail with 54.2 percent, SpotXchange Video Advertising Platform with 53.8 percent and Specific Media with 51.4 percent.

Top 10 YouTube Partner Channels by Unique Viewers
The November 2014 YouTube partner data revealed that video music channel VEVO climbed back into the top position in the ranking with 46.9 million viewers. Disney/Maker Studios occupied the #2 spot with 45 million unique viewers, followed by Fullscreen with 37.5 million, Machinima with 25.8 million and Warner Music with 25.1 million.
