Position:  Lead Account Manager, Strategic Partnerships

Location: New York, NY or Remote

About This Role:

 

Comscore is looking for a Lead Account Manager to support our Strategic Partnerships team. This person will be a primary point of contact and key steward for one of Comscore’s largest strategic partnerships. In this role, he / she will interface both internally and externally, driving large innovative projects, and will help to drive revenue growth as well as analysis of strategic transactions. This is an exciting role that will support Business Development and strategic growth initiatives on the team.

 

What You'll Do:

 

Partner Management:

  • Responsible for day-to-day management of select partner and stakeholder relationships
  • Project manage software development cycle including discovery, requirements gathering, design, execution, and post-delivery.
  • Must be able to support relationship of key partners including pipeline management, contract administration, revenue tracking, billing, and payments
  • Ability to identify and support new business development including finding new contacts and making proposals
  • Maintains a strong knowledge of client’s industry, competitive space and role in the market, including competitors, customers, and emerging trends 

Business Development:

  • Collaborate with Leadership to support analysis of roadmap and requirements, as well as assist in go-to-market strategies through build, buy or partner analysis.
  • Conduct and support industry research, investigating market trends and financially strategic opportunities.
  • Have deep understanding of the Products and Markets you are responsible for to enable you to be a good business partner, and to enable you to make good context-based decisions.

Partner Management:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Demonstrating cross-functional leadership with Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Commercial areas and implementing business process improvements where necessary
  • Excellent listening and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment

What You'll Need:

  • BA/BS required in Business, Finance, Digital/Media, Marketing or related field
  • 7+ years of external Account Management/Consulting and Business Analyst experience in a client-facing position within analytics, audience measurement, advertising agency, marketing data solutions or digital media business OR
  • 5+ years of Business Development
  • Experience in a similar role at an agency, advertising technology or media company, data analytics/ measurement company, management consulting or investment bank a plus
  • Understanding of TV and/or Digital advertising is a plus
  • Strong analysis and presentation skills including proficiency of Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently and logically frame a problem, provide the analysis required to answer various business questions
  • Understanding of how to use data as a research tool is a plus
  • Understanding of Multichannel video programming distributors (MVPD) is a plus X2
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
