About This Role:

Comscore is looking for a sales professional with experience in the linear TV, CTV and digital marketplace, audience-based buying, advertising measurement, currency initiatives, and a track record of success selling to holding companies, media agencies and directly to advertisers. As an Sales Director, Agency & Brand, you'll be at the forefront of selling Comscore's traditional and cross-platform measurement products to the buy-side marketplace.  Armed with a best-in-class product suite that spans both digital and television platforms, coupled with a high-performance sales / analytics / custom solutions team, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to Comscore's growth and industry leadership. 

What You'll Do:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for selling our unique data services and products to prospects and partners within an assigned agency holding company, its media agencies and associated brands; leveraging Comscore's core audience, advertising measurement and activation capabilities. 

  • This person will report to the VP, Agency and Brand Sales and on a team assigned to a holding company and its associated brands, to reach the company's sales goals and deliver Comscore’s buy-side initiatives and products. 

  • This person will be tasked with transactional sales of measurement and data products and services, as well as support on closing new, and renewing existing, syndicated subscription deals with holding companies.

  • The candidate should come in with, and forge new, agency and brand relationships to help solidify Comscore as a true partner for currency, cross-platform, digital and linear TV measurement, and marketing insights. 

  • Candidate must coordinate internally and be able to work cross-functionally with client services, product management, product marketing, and other internal teams to sell and help create innovative measurement solutions, go-to-market opportunities, and solve client needs.  

  • This person will develop a pipeline and must close sales in a fast-paced, high growth environment. 

What You'll Need:

  • A minimum of bachelor's degree and 5-10 years' professional experience working at an agency, brand direct marketing, advanced media sales or selling into those roles.

  • A highly aggressive sales professional with a proven track record of revenue-driving success.

  • Strong personal relationships with holding companies, agencies, brands, and networks.

  • Specific experience managing and selling audience and advertising effectiveness measurement services to marketing, market research, and advertising teams within these organizations.

  • Heavy understanding of market research (qualitative and quantitative for TV, print, digital and mobile) and other related industry knowledge and how this information can be applied to help clients achieve their goals.

  • A deep understanding of the analytical advertising process within the advertising industry.

  • Highly organized, but flexible with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 base plus incentive bonus; commensurate with experience.
