HR Business Partner

About This Role:

The Human Resources Business Partner is a key position in Comscore's HR team, providing direct client support to leaders and employees in the US and Canada. Reporting to the Lead HR Business Partner working with internal HR partners and business leadership to identify, develop, and execute solutions in the full spectrum of Human Resources disciplines to promote a culture of high performance, strong engagement, and consistent growth. Key initiatives include those in performance management, talent development, employee relations, and organizational development.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with the Human Resources team and internal clients to implement HR strategy
  • Serve as HR consultant to employees and managers providing feedback, coaching and guidance, recommendations to HR management mitigating risk
  • Work with HR Business Partner team in implementing processes and strategies related to career development, staffing initiatives, employee relations, workplace ethics and performance management
  • Provide key support in complex projects and programs (eg. employee engagement initiatives, rewards and recognition, career pathing, performance management, etc
  • Conduct exit interviews reporting and assessing trends and metrics
  • Work closely with all HR specialist functions to provide seamless HR support and guidance to the business
  • Assist with employee relations issues and provide recommendations for resolutions

What You'll Need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of three years progressive, professional HR experience
  • Demonstrated experience in HR disciplines such as performance management, compensation, organizational structure, career pathing, training, employee relations and compliance.
  • Ability to maintain high level confidentiality
  • Decision making skills based on solid rationale and judgment
  • Consultative skills; ability to partner, influence and impact at all levels
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Solid knowledge of all applicable labor laws and requirements and prevailing HR practices
  • Working knowledge of procedures, formulating policy, and developing/implementing processes
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local-level employment practices, laws and regulations
  • Verbal and written communication and presentation abilities
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel skills a must)
  • Experience with Workday a plus
