#RIPGRPs: Evolving the Metrics That Move Us Forward
Publishers now enabled to account for their deduplicated audience footprint across Desktop, Mobile and Social
LONDON, July 15, 2025 - Comscore (NASDAQ: SCOR), a global, trusted partner for planning, transacting, and evaluating media today announced the inclusion of social metrics in its MMX Platform suite for 9 international markets: Chile, Colombia, Peru, Germany, Ireland, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia and Australia. The service has been available in the United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, France, Canada, India, Argentina, Brazil and Mexico which provides a deduplicated view of audiences across Desktop, Mobile, and Social to enable publishers and brands to measure their comprehensive total digital population.
By providing a broader view of digital audiences, Comscore's new Social Incremental enhancement enables agencies to improve channel optimization and publishers to better position the complete reach of their properties for partners to transact on.
“As a specialist media platform with highly-engaged, global audiences across a wide array of brands and platforms, having Comscore's unified view of audiences across all platforms, including social, is incredibly powerful," said Vic Chappell, Senior Director of Marketing at Future. "This enhanced measurement gives us a precise understanding of our true total global digital footprint, which is essential not only for transparency but also for unlocking greater value in our advertiser partnerships."
“Being able to provide the global reach of a brand's audience is a significant advancement in communication. Social media represents an essential channel for connecting and building relationships with our followers, using different codes while respecting our brand’s DNA. We are very pleased to now offer total reach that enhances the measurement of global campaigns.” — Sandra Prosperi, Ad Intelligence & Digital Operations Director, Hearst Spain
With this release, Comscore is transforming the field of audience measurement. Alejandro Fosk, EVP International at Comscore, emphasizes the significance, stating, "Comscore's methodology efficiently organizes data with precision and uncovers interconnections across platforms. This enables us to provide unique reach metrics that now encompass Social. It's a solution only made possible by the massive scale of Comscore's proprietary digital panel. Our Social Incremental methodology is enhanced with privacy and allows publishers with significant social presence to capture and monetize more of the value of their deduplicated audiences across their entire footprint."
Brands, agencies and publishers can tap into these expanded metrics for audience overlap analysis, combined total audience reach, deduplicated social reach, and customer centric reporting to inform decision making.
Comscore's Digital Industry Rankings will now report on the traffic inclusive of Social for entities that have worked with Comscore to activate this complete measurement.
