Global privacy laws may differentiate between the controller and processor of personal information. In general, Comscore is a controller of personal information collected by Comscore digital measurement and panel technologies. There are circumstances where Comscore may be a processor for digital audience measurement due to the restricted processing activities and data flow.

Comscore may also collect personal information from surveys conducted on behalf of our clients. In these instances, the clients are the controllers.
